Harumph. I don't need to come on here to be insulted thank you very much, Mr GG is more than capable :o.

Haven't a scooby when it comes to knitting or crochet I'm pleased to say :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

I wish I had asked my aunt before she went doolally :(

Second train home this afternoon just never seemed to pick up any speed. As a result it arrived 20 minutes late and I missed my connection

I got to spend less than an hour with lovely Mr MWC before he left on a business trip :(

Today was the first day I had to post something on the RM survey... I forgot to ask Mr MWC to do it for me :doh:Must try harder tomorrow!

Bummer about train:( How long is Mr MWC away for?

PS I posted a survey letter on the wrong day (by accident) last week, it wasn't until I recorded it I realised, however no one said anything. I received my August stamps today...thinking of giving free postage during my next fleabag stint - that way people might think I'm a philanthropist :D

  • Mr MWC is away until Thursday but it doesn't matter - Richard Gere is keeping me company :smileyhea

(An Officer & a Gentleman has just started on More 4)

Tomorrow's letter needs to be posted at a Post Office. Does that mean I post it in the posting box outside the PO or do I have to take it to the counter?

If there's a post box outside, then pop it in there. If not, it's over the counter X

Eggs OUT 1 (poached for my dinner)

Tonight is ginger beer making night :j

My new wardrobe arrived today. I just happened to check my personal e-mail at work this morning to find an e-mail from the couriers to tell me that it would be delivered between 13:37 and 16:37. So much for the "we'll phone and arrange a mutually convenient date/time" Luckily my boss said I could work from home this afternoon. The lovely delivery drivers did take it upstairs for me though (with much huffing & puffing and not too much damage to the newly painted walls...)

Unfortunately when I unpacked it there is a scratch on one of the doors (3 grey gloss doors but only 2 had protective film on...) now it's only a little scratch (about 2 cm long) but it is at eye level and at £550 it's already starting to annoy me that it's not perfect. I wonder if they can just send me a new door

Take a photo of it asap MWC and email it -tonight if you can so that they can't wriggle out of it.

Same thing happened me when I had a leather sofa delivered -got the price reduced instead of the hassle of returning it.
As you say-a new door would be best-good luck.
