Unfortunately when I unpacked it there is a scratch on one of the doors (3 grey gloss doors but only 2 had protective film on...) now it's only a little scratch (about 2 cm long) but it is at eye level and at £550 it's already starting to annoy me that it's not perfect. I wonder if they can just send me a new door

They'll have to do something it'll drive you mad

    I've contacted the furniture company...

My HM ginger beer was very gassy this morning. Fingers crossed it doesn't explode today - I've moved it to a cooler room and put it in a bin bag just in case :)

My little car was serviced last month and I have noticed a huge difference in performance since - an extra 8-10 mpg :T That's better fuel efficiency than when it was new 4 years ago :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day

    Hi MWC

I've been reading your diary from the start over the last few weeks, up to page 50 I think as we speak.

You're doing really well with your Op's and savings and I love all the chicken updates and your food recipes sound fabulous :D

Right, off to do some tasks of my own now

    Regards

No, the recipe from a link in skintspice's diary

    2 tbsp grated ginger
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 tbsp honey
    225g sugar
    1/4 tsp yeast
    2L tepid water

Put ginger, lemon juice, honey, sugar and yeast in a clean plastic bottle with 1.5L water. Shake until sugar has dissolved. Top up with water until approx. 4 cm from top. Leave in a warm place for a couple of days, letting out gas as required. Chill, strain (optional), drink

Very poor customer service MWC :(

Re ginger beer, I had mentioned to El that yours seemed to be very fizzy, whereas she thinks that her hooch may be a bit flat....
