As soon as we hear from Tilly, we can set the ball rolling.

The girls (eggs and names) are gonna be famous!!!!!! F&B will have to stick such shades as 'Elephants Breath' where the sun don't shine:rotfl:

  • Yesterday's update:

    Eggs IN 7
    Eggs OUT 0

Delicious steak, feta, green lentil, spinach & chargrilled artichoke salad for dinner, washed down with a couple of glasses of prosecco :D

    Today's plan:

    - photograph eggs
    - some housework (want the house to look presentable when the decorators arrive tomorrow but they will be sanding down stuff and making a mess so don't want to do too much!!!)
    - out for lunch/afternoon (SIL's 40th)
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021

  • Good morning

Now GG taking advantage of me being in the air seems a bit cheeky :rotfl:

MWC, being a lifetime supporter of Miss LRH I have to put my case forward to 'share' her with GG. Having supported her against the big unfriendly girls, welcomed her to the fold, I'm well placed to support her through the competition :rotfl:

I think you should definitely go for it - Natty, get writing - loads of pics - I think it would be a real coup, having your paint named after one of the girls :T. Plus with the focus on food at the moment, it's very topical.

    Best wishes Tilly x

  • Where did the last 3 days go???!!!

Had a lovely day out on Sunday - although cocktails, triple brownie indulgence (actually double brownie indulgence as I couldn't eat the third one) and punting don't mix...

    V busy at work :(

    Eggs IN some
Eggs OUT a few less (planning to make ice cream at the weekend  as we have a dozen eggs that aren't fresh enough to sell)

    MWCx

PS Natty/GG/Tilly - will send winning photos at the weekend!

Does anyone have a favourite ice cream recipe/flavour that they would like to share please?

I have some HM raspberry puree in the freezer so I was thinking about peach melba ice cream but Mr MWC turned his nose up as he isn't a big fan of peaches, and raspberry ripple ice cream alone is a bit dull.

I've just come across a recipe for brown bread ice cream with raspberry ripple that sounds quite interesting  Can anyone recommend brown bread ice cream? :D

I don't have to use the raspberry puree (although it has been in the freezer since last autumn so maybe I should...)

I've been attacked by a chicken

Miss Beryl has gone broody and turned into a nasty little madam when I evicted her from the nestbox :naughty:

    Eggs IN 9
Eggs OUT 16 (3 boxes sold for £4)

Fasting again today - that explains why I've spent all day thinking about ice cream :rotfl:

The decorators painted the spare bedroom today... the yellow paint is brighter than I expected based on the tester pot  too late now...

And my 0% CC has arrived :T
