I sent the first letter requesting all the charges. Then called & quoted £550. They sent me a letter saying that they had provided me with their T's & C's & that they were correct & above board in their charges but would i accept £270 any way ???? as a gesture of goodwill ! Well actually its my birthday in the month of September how about a goodwill gesture every year then aswell.....

I have called them today & told them to up their offer or i shall be taking them to court.

    AVE IT !!
  • Hi to all, I have just recieved Notive of acknowledgement from Yorkshire Bank they intend to defend all of the claim, close on 5 thousand pound and have given an address in Scotland Clydesdale Bank as the document address is it possible that because the address is different I will loose any claim also when I filled the claim in the postcode stated Yorkshire Bank as PLC but it dosent state that anywhere on letters I am very confused and would be really grateful for any advice I feel I have lost allready thanks in advance :-(
  • According to the address list Rex gives a Leeds address for the Yorkshire Bank for the court claim.

Why not copy the letters, documents to both the addresses you have been given?

    Hi
If you are exempt from paying Court fees then you will have to fill in the forms and take them to Court yourself, you won't be able to do it online. It is better really then doing it online, as you have more room on the forms to fill out more details of your claim.
    Good luck!

Many interesting messages from all avenues.

Does anyone know if it is worthwhile trying to claim bank charges if I went bankrupt in August 2003. The charges was paid by me up until I lost employment through ill health.

I am curious to know if it is worth it or would it be taking the mickey out of the claiming.

    Best Wishes
