I just called the Halifax requesting statements for the last 6 years for my credit card. They have informed me that they charge £5 for the first 5 statements and £5 per statement thereafter. Are they allowed to do this?0

No, write the Data Protection letter enclosing £10 for ALL the information held on you and they have to supply it.0

I wish to start proceedings for the return of my money but have a loan with Loans Direct who are owned by Lloyds, I am very worried that they will call in this loan if I am successful and also that they would be legally entitled to do so.
I would be grateful if anyone could help me with this0 -

Hi
I don't think they are allowed to do this, your loan is a separate agreement to your bank account as far as I am aware. I successfully claimed from LTSB on behalf of my boyfriend, he also had a loan with Loans Direct and his was not called in.
Good luck!

Make sure you send the Court a copy of your schedule of charges, ask them to attach them to your claim.
Good luck!

Hi
I'm a bit confused what to do now - I contacted MCOL to see how best to send them the schedule of charges - they said they can't anything to my claim at this stage and only will if they receive a defence?
Does this sound right to you?
