It's not just phone signal either - I have no phone signal, and no internet/3g either - so haven't even been able to send emails/imessages etc

Same here on Tesco. No service from midday but came back on for a very brief moment around 4 pm then back off again!0

signal on and off here. Currently have signal and can make calls. But can't receive calls, send or receive texts or data.
Not an apology from O2, just a statement that they are investigating.0 -
My dd's has gone down(tesco), then up briefly, then back down again. I'll have to look out one of my old virgin contract sim cards for her. Really maddening. She's disabled and really needs her phone just in case. I don't care about the cost, I'm getting her another sim for emergencies! And dropping the contract as soon as possible.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

Tesco again, totally fine during the first outage but not this one, received calls without a problem until tonight, then I got no bars at home and couldn't make any calls whatsoever though a relative out in the sticks has been OK so far. Changed handsets and a Samsung handset is picking up a tower signal - but now it's no longer receiving calls either, in the centre of town it was fine.
So off out for a new SIM tomorrow, tempted by Carphone Warehouse's Vodafone backed no-frills talk and text, for an emergency it should at least work.0 -
