You can detect these things far better than I can, obviously you've done more time here and are more experienced!
I might be a bit naïve but I genuinely suspect a person has a problem with a PPC, the description so far is not beyond reality.
So we'll see what happens!
The description may not be far-fetched, but the gushing adoration for you is! Either he/she is taking the Mickey or the two of you need to get a room.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Hi holly, i to work for the NHS and get tickets even though i pay £120 a year for a permit. They will try all sorts of dirty tricks to take your money from you. What is it with the nHS using PPC to "manage" their car parks. Maybe they get a cut of the money eh???
Dont be frightened by the use of debt collectors, post your progress of the letters you get. then in time when you are enlightened you can help your work mates avoid lining the pockets of the ppc .The word about the scammers is spreading like marmite here in the westcountry.
We workers all love it and the ppc hate it :rotfl:0 -
Thanks Devonlad!
Yes it's a horrible sittuation. i pay £240 per year for permit and not guaranteed a parking space! I don't know what they expect you to do if the car parks are full! Why should they be full?, they know how many permits they've issued.
Im not going to pay it but i am a bit afraid they will discontinue my permit next time as i didn't pay up, then the trip to work via other transport at my shift times will be crazy!! eeek.hollybean0 -
Some people like to try to get their post count up...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Right here how it is. a while ago our trust put on their website, staff will face dicispline if they do not pay their fine. I wrote to them that if they cant do that due to confidentiality etc. it has nothing to do with the permit department it is between you and the ppc simple as that. they removed there message begrudingly.
dont need to give more advice as its all been saidThe word about the scammers is spreading like marmite here in the westcountry.

Dear Devonlad Wow! that is so interesting with what you said.
So really they cannot stop my permit as the permit comes and belongs to the NHS, not the private company.
So the private company is just managing the the carpark as such ie trying to police it!
So the private company shouldn't be allowed to involve my manager/company i work for to get monies due. Right??0 -

A "gushing admiration" for me is "far-fetched" is it? In other words I am not likeable!!!!!
Thanks, you're a real friend!:rotfl:

Devonlad. The hospital often gets at least 50% of the income raised through dodgy invoices.0
