Hospital staff parking fines

Dear Visadeath,
yes my car is registered to my card. Yes you do have a point there, how cruel would that be to do that. Thanks for the heads up.0 -
Any time!
Now I don't mean to encourage foul play but you do have that option of parking where you did to generate the so-called Parking Enforcement Notice every single day if you wish. Either all the tickets are valid and payable or none of them are. But I'm just saying, IF you get any problems of that nature, and regardless of whether you are a nurse, as far as I am concerned you are hospital staff and will have paid for your parking. To that end, they either let you in or they refund you for the entire year. If they refuse, sod them and park where you wish and if they try court, you just explain that you have a permit and that it was revoked for the non-payment of an illegal charge and so you reserve your right to park on the property for which you paid.0 -
I've learned my lesson, i will try to find a designated space if it makes me late for work! I don't want another fine. Just shows you, a warning would have surficed.0

Not any where you wish, you don't want to be obstructing emergency vehicles...
Also if all the car parks are barrier controlled by the PPC, the internal roads etc might be under the control of the trust ,landowner, so then internal policys for staff might be in place.Power is good, but then you get the bill....0 -

Well I'll lend my car and take the wrap for everything!:rotfl:
I get the fake letters, I decide how to handle them!
I don't want to speculate and go ten miles east if we are heading north-west! Let's see the outcome. I predict five threatograms and case closed.
But bottom line is this:
1) To you Hollybean - it is NOT a fine, neither does it say so.
2) The demand is unlawful.
3) The Trust may not victimise its staff on account of this scanty activity.
4) If the Trust does decide to play Silly-Buggеr and cancel the employee's permit without refund, then she (I take it we are dealing with a lady here!) be masterful and continue to park accordingly.
Now nobody ever suggested blocking ambulance routes or fire exists, I'm not a maniac! Park sensibly, yes; park without obstructing anyone or anything, yes. All the hospitals I know have open spaces for things like visitors or the like and taking one of these spots will not be disruptive, but as I said, ONLY if the Trust tries to get smart.0 -

I'm not trained that well! But you'll soon learn this sector is child's play. This isn't going to escalate. Have a look if you wish at many of the other threads past and present, you'll see your case is neither new nor unique in any way. We've had hospital staff on the job, shoppers at retail parks, drivers picking up at airports, students at university car parks, passengers receiving fake Byelaw 14 tickets on railway car parks, visitors at private residential roads, the list grows, you name it, we've seen it and it's the same old show. The PPC comes, the PPC goes, the PPC loses decisively every time.
But remember, your employer is not the law. Any hasstle from them and we'll nail them, with or without the union.0 -
Can you give me the name of the company that issued the charge notice?0
