A pack-up breakfast?

In a few weeks Mr S is taking our 12 yo son and 2 of son's friends to an event abroad. They are driving there. It involves 2 overnight stays. Due to geographical location after the 1st nights stay, they will need to set off early, before the hotel they are staying in serves breakfast. I would like to make them a breakfast pack up instead, but I'n struggling for ideas. So far I've come up with cereal bars, croissants, and juice boxes and beyond that I'm stumped. Any other ideas I can consider? Ideally I'd like to buy the items and them be individually wrapped. I am likely to be working full-time in the run up to them going so want items I can just plonk into bags.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Depending upon their schedule I would encourage mr s to pop into a local supermarket to buy something local and 'foreign' to maximise 'foreign' nature of the trip and the exposure to other culture, might that be possible?

    Belvita breakfast biscuits :D

What about a satsuma? or an apple. How boring are my breakfasts?!

Nope, it will be very late when they arrive due to how long he will need to drive and they are setting off after school on a Friday night. The shops may not be open and even if they are the focus will be on going to sleep, as they will need an early start the following day.

Have you tried all the flavours and if so which did you like? I bought the milk and cereal ones and Mr S say they were ok, but reminded him of army ration food-lol. Do they differ from ordinary biscuits.

I bought the honey and nut ones last week, they were on offer in Sainsburys. I haven't tried the dairy one. The nut ones are really delicious, and the nuts are ground up so there isn't a nutty texture (my youngest says he hates nuts, but what he really means is they get stuck in the gaps where he has missing teeth).

When we go camping I take a breakfast bag with me consisting mostly of brioche rolls from Lidl. They are £1.59 I think for 6, but they are individually wrapped and they're really lovely.

They taste a bit like digestives but they contain different grains and they do seem healthier. I let my teenager take them to school on those mornings when his friends call for him too early - he won't eat breakfast in front of them because it's not cool. They don't eat breakfast!

I really like Belvita biscuits and I'm not really a biscuit person (apart from the occasional chocolate hobnob or five :D). I'm on the fruit & fibre ones at the moment. Had the yoghurt ones last week, they're yummy.
