Haven't had a box from A&C for a while but was thinking of getting one next week. Just been notified that delivery is going up from 99p to £1.25!

    Organic bananas per hand

    Morrisons 1.50
    Tesco 1.65
    Sainsbury's currently 20% off individually priced, I paid 85p !

Tesco has a different organic variety of strawberry (Driscoll's something) from same supplier in Herefordshire as Sainsbury's 2.50 - will taste test and report back.

Picked up YS seedless organic black grapes today from Tesco - a bit tart.

The Driscoll's something strawberries were just as good as the Fenella variety.

£1.25 isn't much compared to some of the supermarket delivery prices.

Ran short of veg so had to go in Morrisons..

Org cherry tomatoes £1.39 (Holland I think but wrapper is in bin)
    Org cucumber £0.99 (Holland)
    Org gem lettuce £1.49 (UK)

Cheap compared to A&C! Quality was actually very good, the lettuce was very fresh/clean looking, tomatoes had colour (!) and cucumber seemed very fresh too. Think there were 3 types of tomatoes on sale but the others looked quite unripe. Would have got bananas but all way too ripe..

Re the A&C delivery charge rise, I could accept it more if the prices for individual items weren't so horrendously high already compared to other outlets. I've ordered a box instead of separate items this week - but while I've got the free smart pass am tempted to try more of the Ocado stocked boxes.

Think I saw the Respect org carrot cake on offer in Sains, 3 for 2 - but who buys 3 of these at once?! They have quite a short date.

Asda have the small box of non bio laundry powder reduced to clear for £2, don't know if this is in all branches (I just saw it in my local store).

I am currently collecting research for my dissertation- I'm looking at consumers' buying habits in supermarkets and the influence of alternatives like local and organic on purchasing decisions. You guys seem to have your eye on the ball about what to get and where to get it- it would be great if I could include your views in my study. So if anyone could spare a couple of minutes to answer a few questions I would be very grateful :)

As a newbie you can't post links so it doesn't work sorry -suggest you ask Qs.

Kirri Sainsbury's now has individually priced hands/bunches of banas so I got for 84p would have been 1.50 in Morrisons.

Ocado has offer on Waitrose organic frozen petit pois, 3 bags for £4. Daylesford organic chicken 25% off but currently out of stock except for whole 1.5kg chickens. Ocado has G&B chocolate ice cream reduced to £3 from 4.49

Kirri Whole Foods Richmond doing 5 dishes for £5 from 5pm on Friday.
