    I've been Money Tipped!
It's been very quiet here for a while, what's happened to everyone ?

This week I received my 50th Riverford order and have discovered their pickle:) and it lasted 4 days ! It was so good. I gave up buying Branstons etc years back as the taste changed and have since become more aware of ingredient lists. At 3.95 a jar it's not cheap and I have vowed to be more frugal with the next jar:o. With Glastonbury cheddar in the fridge and homemade bread and salad I knew the pickle wouldn't last long once I'd tried it. A little on the sweet side, but went so well with the mature cheddar.

For those that like their cheddar, Ocado have Lye Cross Farm organic mature cheddar 350g on offer at £2.49 a block. (Half price till 17 june) Every few months it comes round for 2 or 2.49 and I stock up until the next time. I rarely have less than a couple of blocks in the fridge and often at least 10.

I'm here, just wasn't anyone else posting :( (apart from all the crap re the codes).

Saw few new (I think) organic items in M&S - yoghurts in 2 types (kids/adults) and think the other thing I saw was cheese? Seem to be a few more bits creeping in there but not enough to do a meal with. I've bought the new M&S organic bagged salad quite a few times but think the new Waitrose organic bagged salad is just a bit better. Both shops need to hold more stock though and I've noticed it doesn't seem to be stocked in every Waitrose.

Saw a new organic shop opening in Epsom for anyone in that area. Was still in building phase with just a sign saying it was going to be an organic shop.

Waitrose organic cheddar is really nice, not tried that before. Comes in quite a few strengths.

Cauldron have a new Italian herb organic tofu out, got it in Waitrose. Not eaten it yet.

I've been ordering from A&C every week lately, had a very rude young woman from Riverford deal with a complaint on the phone and her attitude put me off using them since. Shame as I like the look of their new boxes.

I tried a Riverford pickle in the past but gave it away as far too sweet (even for me!).

I hadn't seen the new Riverford boxes till you mentioned them Kirri. I haven't ordered from them for a while now as I found customer service left a lot to be desired and I don't like not being able to exclude certain items.

I see A&C are doing recipes boxes now - all the ingredients you need for three meals for two people. Obviously not brilliant for people on their own but they are offering a third off your first box so six meals for £22. Might be worth a try?

^ yep think Riverford need to up the customer service.
I've had an issue with some of my A&C veg this week but on the whole, bar 1 experience, they've had better customer service.

I hadn't noticed the A&C recipe boxes had a offer, must admit I'm just copying the ideas in the veggie boxes - bit too expensive for me to buy the boxes and I'd get duplicates of ingredients I've already got.

New recommendation - for Vivani chocolate - I got it from Planet Organic, tried the caramel (dairy) and almond orange (vegan) flavours. £1.10 for 40g.

Good to see you posting, E :D

Sure I read the Happy Egg co were bringing out some organic eggs - but to bear in mind that some of their non org farms were investigated for cruelty a few years back. Not a brand I'd buy because of that although the brand covers multiple farms.

G&B on offer in Waitrose at the moment.

^ it's terrible, weed wise, struggling to keep on top of it, I have things growing even though I'm behind this year so I'll try and catch up bit by bit and get it all weeded by end of the summer.. Onions, garlic, potatoes, strawberries should be ready soon. Have you got anything growing?

In the past week I've been in Planet Organic, Wholefoods, Organico Epsom, Waitrose, M&S, Sainsbury's and had veg delivered by A&C. Was disappointed with Sainsbury's - seemed as bad as the other major supermarkets for lack of interesting, fresh, organic food. They did however have the Evian 12 pk mini bottles on offer for £3 and the Highland Spring large bottles at 2 for £1.

Tried on some organic t-shirts in H&M this week, good prices though shame they mixed the organic cotton with 20% polyester or whatever it was.

Yep I'm on Twitter, I endlessly retweet competitions on there :o plus I love it for info on co's, people etc :D

Belvoir elderflower presse - on offer in Wholefoods, love this.

Conscious organic raw choc with nuts, got it from WF - eye wateringly expensive so a one off trial.. nice enough raw choc, quite intense, but I prefer Ombar Coco Mylk.

I'm looking for more shops stocking Vivani choc... only found it in Planet Org so far.

Godo choc - nice but normal ish tasting, bit like G&B - good price at only 89p ish, got it in WF. I tried hazelnut and also vanilla.

Hoxton Beach sweet potato falafel with tamarind & date chutney - not org but are vegan/GF. Really good! Got it in WF.

Roots & Wings org shampoo - more expensive than my usual Jason shampoo but just trying it out, like it so far, quite moisturising. Will test out the conditioner too. Again got it from WF.

WF have revamped their pick & mix cold salad bar salads, the mexican ones are lovely. Miss some of the old ones they did though.

Finally tried the houmous from A&C and I love it, will def buy this again. Less salty than M&S I think. Didn't like the pitta that A&C stock though, too dry (they are long life) but did improve a bit with toasting. I prefer the non org M&S ones still...

Allo Kirri no not growing anything seasonal, seems a bit late, might do some salad leaves.

I'm off to Sainsbos tomorrow and lately the organic spring onions have been too hot to eat raw.

Had Ocado delivery tonight, £95 ouch. Mostly chicken and lamb for freezer. Not left me much budget for veg this week.

A&C houmous us far better than Sainsbury's. Not had a Riverford order in months now as often out with my mother as she shops for Britain.

I got the Selfridges Beauty Box and had Kiehl's stuff, Laura Mercier, Ole Jendrikson etc.
