Now I can go back to contact lenses I can go back to makeup too. Found this http://www.redonline.co.uk/beauty/10-best/organic-makeup but can't find these products in my town so ended up with Clinique.

^ Dr Hauschka is one of my fave brands for make up, especially the original mascara, Ive not found a better one. If you're ever up in London this place always had a fantastic selection of make up in store - but I order online from them as well.

Good prices on those sets on Ocado, rufy.

Edit, this is the mascara I like, they do two but I prefer the more basic one, smaller brush:

though I have the volume one in the purple too.

    Purple mascara.. I want !!

I impulse bought some Clinique eye concealer, mascara and eye liner today just because in my small town I didn't really have a lot to choose from.

The Body Shop is owned by L'Oreal now and I dunno if they even DO make up. Does Holland & Barrett ?

I'm a tad wary of cheap brands I don't recognise as well hence Debenhams.

I'm a sucker for anything in purple!

Although I love most things by Green People or Lavera, the mascaras weren't as good as Dr H.

Clinique :lipsrseal though used to like it pre organic days.

H&B don't do make up afaik.

Body Shop do have quite a nice range, or did the last time I went in which is once in a blue moon, I try not to buy it but they did this pale lilac shimmery shadow that you put over black eyeliner and get an intense violet shimmer that I liked :o I only go in there for the nail buffer they do but sometimes get led astray..

I got another Ombar today, in cranberry and mandarin, nice ish, bit dark for me, I prefer the coco mylk one, luckily I bought another one of those too.. I *think* they are ok for me to eat compared to 'normal' chocolate.
  • Thank you everyone for your congratulations.

I am always puzzled by the Body Shop, when I walk past I never see anyBODY in there. I'm surprised they are still trading. Overpriced as the products aren't that great in my opinion. I have never seen organic in there, do they do organic make up?

My local Body Shop always looks empty too and so does the H&B, but when I went to hospital appt I nipped in that H&B afterwards and it was quite busy.

My mother is coming up today not sure what we are doing, might drag her into shops to look at stuff. Sunny here ATM.

Allo where is everybody ? xx

Riverford and Abel & Cole both have offers on for Valentine's Day.

Another celeb on Coolspotters who shops at Whole Foods is Adam Lambert. Evidently he eats a lot of organic raw food and juices.

I have no idea who Adam Lambert is.....:rotfl:

Enjoying some Biona rye bread this week, wheat free but not gluten free of course, very filling.

Will check out offers but Valentines ones tend to include champagne (we don't drink) and chocs (try not to eat ;) )

^ Godminster are doing some heart shaped cheeses :D

Article on organic sales growth, a lot of the comments after are interesting but the ones against are coming out with the same bizarre arguments for not eating organic :rotfl:
