Had both A&C and Riverford today, both nice and early.

Edwardia, re what you said the other week, the Riverford van must be refrigerated, I know it was cold today but everything arrives nicely chilled.

The caerfilli cheese is lovely, lazy lunch with the sourdough :D

Got a code on my A&C order for £5 off £10 chilled veggie food spend on my next order so may try some tofu/burgers.

Got Riverford order this morning Kirri but have no idea whether it was chilled or not cos OH spirited it all away, bread fiend that he is :)

I've not had the Caerfilli myself from Riverford but have had the Sussex Slipcote and Halloumi from High Weald Dairy and they are both really nice - the Halloumi is great for cooking. Riverford price cheaper than Budgens too.

I hope I get a voucher from A&C Monday - not had any voucher/freebie for awhile now.

This is totally off topic but as it could be my best bargain ever, I'm really stoked :j Sealy double divan bed was £898 - 60% off at Sainsbury's and saved over £500 :D Over 700 Nectar points too which should buy a few organic veggies ;) Plenty of bed offers at Sainsbury's online to 16th April if stocks last if anyone interested.

    Happy Easter everyone !

I got my medium box from riverford nice and early-still in bed!
    Cauliflour 700g
    mushrooms 150g
    purple sprouting 300g
    carrots 1kg
    pots 1.5kg
    onions 700g
    lettuce large
    toms 300g
    celery 500g
    swede 600g

don't think it was as good a deal at the other place i got a box from, at costing this up in the supermarkets it's only £12.75 where as i paid £16.95. Thinking i will get the next 2 boxes anyway as my third is meant to be free to make up the difference. Little dissapointed though with the price difference.

I also went hunting today for organic bits and bobs, ended up with little me cream from 99p shop, in t's got orgainc carrots ys and organic gala apples ys. Waitrose had organic strawberries ys.
I've made the switch to orgainc milk in the main for the whole family, but me personally have switched to goats milk as i have digestive issues so hoping this will be a benefit.

today I bought Rachels organic yogurts pots x 4, on special offer at £1.50 in Morrisons. Quite excited to try them.

Also needed ketchup and didn't know whether to buy Heinz Organic (which contains "invert sugar syrup" :( ) or Heinz reduced sugar and salt. I did go organic in the end.

Haven't tried any of them yet so can't post opinion.

Probably not one for Edwardia ;) but for anyone else wanting to try them, Farmaround have posted up a 50% trial offer on facebook, think it was veg, eggs, milk.

Nope, not attempting Farmaround again :(

Ocado this morning, got everything and veg drawer full again :) Got organic fertilisr and seed labels so all I need now is the compost and better weather ;) :j

berbastrike OH lurves Rachel's yogurts especially the gooseberry, and the rhubarb.
Invert sugar syrup does sound a bit dodgy :( OH has some at work though and says he thinks it tastes fine.

I think Biona do a tomato ketchup?? I don't eat it myself but admittedly I prefer not to buy organic versions from overly commercial companies who have never expressed any ethics or interest in organic food generally and are probably just trying to cash in on the organic market so I tend to trust them less and what goes in it and buy alternatives where possible and where it's easy enough to get them. Saying that I don't know if there are org ketchup's not from Heinz in the main supermarkets..

Wish it would warm up so I could get planting!
