What's your pet hate about comping?

I hate it where they make you register all your details for their site, then when there is a comp you are forced to log in AS WELL as completing a really long form. Surely if you are registered you don't need the long form as well. tut.

Slightly off topic somewhat, but something I have noticed recently.

Has anybody else noticed of "please don't bump up the thread" Bobbies on here lately? People who take it upon themselves to tell off newbies for saying thank you to someone posting a comp?
Have those folk who do it noticed that they are bumping the thread as well? So, while you are telling people off for "bumping", you are doing the exactly the same as what the person you are telling off has done.

Some people new on here are still working their way around the site and on at least one occasion one person has said thank you to a comp poster because they won on the comp and still got a rollocking. Leave them alone and let them get on with it.

I thought I'd bump this thread up to just mention it :rotfl:

There was a thread about the subject but it got removed as someone felt they were being bullied over 'policing the rules of the forum', for want of a better phrase.

I didn't mean it nasty, it's just that I saw a post recently where someone was really excited to win something only to get told off, I just found it a bit rotten. We are all here to have fun, lets all be nice and enjoy ourselves :rotfl:
