What's your pet hate about comping?

What about comps that only run something like 11-3 so you can't enter before work and they're over when you get home
?
Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -
I hate needing a number two when I am comping, especially when I am in the middle of the daily mags - I lose my roll and forget where I am up to if I have to get up and go!! I always try to put it off until the last minute or when I start to get pains!
Win a laptopThe modern day equivalent of 'taking the newspaper'.
I don't really have any pet hates any more, guess I just have too much fun and too much c'est la vieGolly, I've got the newt pregnant...

The opt in/opt out tick boxes that are sneakily hidden or ( worse) I cant work out if its a yes or no because of the wording.
The comps that ask 'why do you want to win this prize' or 'why do you deserve this prize'. Im no good at sob stories
and finally...
the way I get cross-eyed after long sessions of comping0 -

I comp on a laptop - just worried it would get splashed if it was balanced on my knees whilst sitting on the loo! :rotfl::TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

I agree - cannot remember the site (but Laks always post the comp and reminds us to 'watch the tick boxes'!) I have to read them a few times before I decide whether I should tick or not!
Some of the radio stations have their tick boxes right at the bottom of the page so if you don't scroll down you miss them!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I hate the daily mag tick boxes because if you tick yes by accident, you cannot change it by going back and you get an immediate spam email!
I also hate Daisy green Comps - The first email has the comps, then after entering you get a 2nd email to ask you to 'confirm your entry' then you get a 3rd email to say you have been entered! OMG if emails were made of wood, Daisy Green would not be green!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I hate some of the blog comps when the blogger asks you to follow their blog by email, GFC, Blogloving, Networked Blogs, Twitter, Facebook etc - I have google reader and like to read my blog updates on there so receiving emails with duplicate posts enclosed is pointless!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

Yes! I agree - I have a red RM card through the door, what could it be? ...... now come on!:rotfl:
I have one too :rotfl: Thought I better not mention it in my original post.
Re the phone calls though, fair enough if someone wants help in finding a number if the number is displayed but when they are asking when it is number witheld who would have a clue who is calling them? The best things in life are free.....0 -
Entry forms that don't work properly on every browser- I can only access certain competitions on Firefox or Chrome, not IE.
Or where vital text info is missing by the boxes are there, but you don't know what should go where, or even what the question is!!!!0 -

Are you using Chrome? If so, go into your autofill settings and take the zero off of your mobile number. e.g. if your mobile no is 0771355555 change it to 771355555 - works like a dream! :j1/1/10 total debt £4,311. Debt today £1,0820
