  • Well tonight..

Dinner - meatballs, pasta, cannolini beans and tomato and parmesan.
Worked out maybe £1.50 per portion (will have the other half tomorrow).

All this was store cupboard and no spends thus far today, caught up on some dishes and washing too.

Listed some bike tyres and a seatpost today. Tomorrow is JSA and HSBC to sort.

Thanks hugandroll hope your going well.
  • Sold two tyres for £20, still have to pay postage, but thats £15 towards test so far.
  • Ok so today.

Positives, due to not eating takeaways/biscuits and booze the past week, I've lost a bit of weight (not in a bad way, but in a positive way)

Signed on today, that's, that done for two weeks.

    • Applied for budgeting loan.
    • Stripped bike of two parts that can be sold on ebay, leaves me with a bike frame I can sell, I really hope it doesent come to that though.
    • Arranged to take bike I'm gonna sell to a local bike shop where I can use their tools to fix tomorrow.
NSD so far had leftover pasta and meatballs for tea, running a bit low on diet coke so might get some later.

Tomorrow is looking busy too, Bank, fix bike and listings.
  • Well done you're doing well. Have you looked for other work as well as getting money together to resit your driving test as you mentioned needing another part time job on top of the hours they offer?

  • Argh. scary moment. Looking at cards.

Capital one has been building up, payment was due today, minimum payment to bring me back under limit is £175. Total is £954 and limit is £800.

This has gone up hugely as £24 per month in late payment and over limit charges.

I owe HSBC £650 and they want a minimum payment of £60.

Argh. Maybe if split hsbc in two and pay it that way and try and arrange payment plan with capital one x 3.

    ARGH. Such a mess.

@hugandroll, cant work whilst on jsa, need test to get off jsa. Once have test ill sort second job.
  • Boo :(. I would contact them all, explain the job issue and see if they will accept token payments for a couple of months.

  • I can catch up with hsbc quick enough, but capital one is the issue. I've missed the payment for this month now anyway, so thats a months space to get things sorted.

Pay rent, eat, hsbc, driving and then deal with capital one. I need that card paid off asap, Its risen to 30% APR
  • So few bits today.

Sold a bike part for £30 and built up a bike for a friend, who gave me £25.
So thats next weeks groceries paid for and test fee (with the tyres I sold yesterday).

Seeing Hsbc tomorrow as didnt have time yesterday. Gonna finish bike tomorrow and get it listed as well. I've a good few ebay auctions as well so will see what they bring.

Total spends £3 for 2x2l diet coke and £1 for biscuits.
  • Well done on the money making. Good luck with HSBC tomorrow.

  • eek, spendy day.

posted ebay some parcels, £8.40 for the two.

Bought dinner, steak pie £4.25, green beans, £1.25 and baby potatoes £1.

So £6.50, but that's for two people and I had a slice of pie for lunch, so not too bad still, this will be cut down for the next week.

Couldn't finish bike today as still waiting on a few parts.

Myself and girlfriend are full of the cold as well, which is a bit grim, raining, freezing too. Meh.

On the plus side, gonna hopefully book new test date today and I've a load of ebay auctions finishing tonight, so hoping for a few pounds from that.
