Thanks everyone. OH is beating himself up for walking out of the job. Told him not to be so silly. I've taken photos of his injuries and I'll keep a hold of them.
HAW - have a great time. I've booked a spa day for OH and me (sneaky I know), its only a choice of massage or facial (we'll both go for the massage) and the use of the pool, sauna etc for the day but I got it for £79 which I thought wasn't too bad for both of us. I think we get some drinks thrown in.
Chev! Lovely to hear from you. How are you?
KW - Kep your fingers crossed. Not ideal he's out of work but hopefully he'll get something soon.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. OH did right. He'd have been crazy to stay any longer. And keep a hold of the photos too.
Aw your spa day sounds good! Price does sound very good actually, especially if you can use the other facilities too
Is it soon? Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Its a voucher HAW, so we can book it anytime we want up to Feb (7 days a week). Though I think OH might want to book it soon. Tried texting OH but he's not answering, he's either in the huff or asleep.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. OH replied, he'd been asleep then gone for a dettol bath. His arms and legs are all gashes from the job. Going to get hamper bits and pieces tonight and then building it for person for tomorrow. Also printing invites and OH is cutting them out...... though he doesn't know that yet!!!!
Decided we're going to indian buffet place nearby for our anniversary dinner (next week). Cheap and cheerful and the food is fab.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hamper made, downstairs tidied. Some stuff dumped in the dining room though. Got a friend coming over shortly for lunch. 4 more £2 coins in the piggy bank. Very sleep today, need to make the cards before I do anything. OH moaning he wants dining room sorted before we go out! Then he moans about hanging up washing when I brought him breakfast in bed. Grrr.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Well OH cheered up (he bought me lunch) now SS has come in in a mood. I can hear him 'throwing' whats he's bought at the supermarket into the fridge . I stuck to my guns about not buying stuff just for him to pretend he wants then throw out, ultimately wasting money. I did however dish him out a bowl of spag bol the other night for him to ignore it and it still be there the next day so I threw it out. He moaned because I threw it out......er well tough it was left out overnight. It won't be fit to eat.
Friend that came over yesterday brought me some lovely carnations so they have pride of place in my living room. Pet sitting for SIL and BIL in a few weeks and not looking forward to it, thought it was 3 weeks. Its nearer 4 weeks!!!!! Its going to be a huge upheaval for us and I can't see how we can now get out of it without causing a fall out. I'm hoping OH will be back working then so they'll be on their own all day and I'm not happy about that.
Feel like I have no choice.
Picked up a really nice art deco keyring on the way home for 50p, going to enamel it and put it away for christmas.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
