Morning All, how is everyone? On the to do list this week:-
- sort out paying off what I spent from cc last week (i.e. Mum's laptop)
- clear the 2 piles of 'paperwork' in the dining room
- prep for OH's op tomorrow (i.e. read up on it so I know what to ask)
- visit my Gran
- build next hamper
- make anniversary card for OH as that's in a few days
- post discount voucher to friend as I forgot to give it to her on sat!
I found out why SS is in such a mood. Turns out he wanted to chuck out mine and OH's stuff out the garage so he could put gym equipment in there. Did he ask me? ....No. Did he ask OH?....No. All he did was sneakily say to OH he'd half in with him for a van to clear out the garage. Turns out he'd already ordered it! So he's been told no chance, its not going in the garage, garden or anywhere else in the house and there's no chance its going in his room as i) its not big enough and ii) he seems to like to leave all his stuff elsewhere round the house. So he's like a bear with a sore head. This morning we can't find his car keys to move his car to get mine out, he knows he's supposed to leave them out and normally does. As they were there when he came in last night we're assuming he's moved them so I'd be late...... yeah thanks SS. He's also in the huff as he's found out the girl he was 'casually' seeing was seeing someone else on holiday. We tried to tell him, but he wouldn't listen. He thought that it would be ok for him to see other people but not her...... er, no it doesn't work like that! ......So all in all, its been a fun 12 hours.
The exercise thing? Still only managing 30 squats a day. Not managed to up that yet. Happy Monday

Hope OHs injuries are healing ok
Well done on the hamper, dumping, cheque and £2 coins!
Ummmm just for future reference, OHs are good at moaning. Even when there's nothing to moan about, they still manage it
Indian buffet sounds yum! Love indian food but don't have a decent restaurant nearby. I got as fas as McDonald's on Saturday. Def not my fav place in the world, but it was for the girls so make do!! lol. Roll on Wednesday night - we're all going out for 'proper' dinner for their birthdays! Yay! No cooking or cleaning!! :rotfl: (it's the simple things, huh?!?)Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Meal out sounds good HAW, what type of food does the restaurant you're going to do?
Thats another payment to Beast, paid what I spent last week plus an extra £17.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Here's the menu!!
Prices are reasonable (standard for here), and portion sizes are gooooood!
We all love their food
Well done :TWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Oooh that does look good HAW (my OH would love it! I would be a bit stuffed with only two veggie options)Must use my stash up!0

You have a very valid point. For whatever reason, a heck of a lot of places really don't cater for vegetarians. They'll maybe give a couple of options, almost always one of them is mushroom risotto. Which is a pity coz I think restaurants are kinda shooting themselves in the foot!

Hello All,
menu looks lovely and quite reasonable HAW.
KW - how are you?
Well, went to see Gran yesterday and had a nice chat. Took her a nice box of chocolate turkish delight I got in Mr T's for £1. Couldn't find my Mr T's vouchers so hopefully they'll still be valid on my next visit!
We had an early night last night as we were up early today (OH had surgery on his eyes). I couldn't get comfy and had such a bad dream. I dreamt my Grandpa has passed away and only got told day before the funeral. I have no recollection who it was in the dream who told me. It was horrible. So I was like a bear with a sore head this morning. We went to where OH was having his op and they tried to flannel us and tell us it was just a check up. .....er, wrong day to wind me up. I politely tore through them and they relented and then explained the surgery, which was different to what we'd been told. I don't think they like me much there, but we've paid a lot of money to get OH's eyes done and the fact he has problems is a concern.
Lunch? Not very healthy, crackers and cheese. I got a small piece of pesto cheddar from Mr T's (they do 30g packs for 40p or 3 for £1) to try and had that and 3 spready light cheese with Aldi's crackers.
Tonight? I might tackle at least some of the piles of paperwork. At the moment I feel like all I could do is sleep.
Its our 4th anniversary on sat. Traditional lists say fruit and flowers. Do you think grapes (we can have those with nice cheese and crackers on fri as I'll have to get it on fri to surprise him), bottle of wine and roses would be ok as a present to a man? He's obviously getting the spa day voucher as well.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hmm or Pumpkin ravioli, when we were away that was the only option and much as I like pumpkin ravioli I don't want to eat it every night for a week!Must use my stash up!0 -
I'd love to be veggie again but I'm seriously allergic to aubergine and red onion. Makes it very difficult as I like a lot of vegetable dishesCC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
