I'd love to be veggie again but I'm seriously allergic to aubergine and red onion. Makes it very difficult as I like a lot of vegetable dishes

If I can manage when fatally allergic to nuts I think you could manage!

Thanks KW, I do try but since red onion became so popular it can make ordering things quite difficult. One restaurant said 'well you could pick them out'...... er no, this isn't that I dislike them..... they severely dislike me!!!!! I do like veggie bacon though and cauliflower cheese, veggie stir fry's (I sometimes add coconut milk to these and green thai curry paste....its lovely). My Mum is allergic to alcohol even when its cooked off, you wouldn't believe what has alcohol content! Those Dr O Pizzas they advertise? They contain dessert wine, so Mum can't have them.

Well we were naughty last night and went to Frankie and Benny's, bread, olives, balsamic and olive oil to start then pasta. Lovely!

OH ended up getting up again about an hour after we went to bed as he couldn't sleep, his eyes were sore after surgery. He didn't want to keep me awake. I found him snoring on the sofa this morning. Left him sleeping and pulled a blanket over him.

  • Aw Frankie and Benny's is yummy! Love it :D

Our dinner out is tonight - can't wait! ;)

Your OH on the sofa again? What are you doing to that poor guy?!?!?!? Hope he's ok very soon.

His sleeping pattern is all to pot HAW. I keep saying to him to not sleep during the day as he's not readjusting from nightshift/dayshift rotation, but he doesn't listen and I think he's a bit down about the no job situation. I had a text from a friend about a job for him but he'd need to be able to drive. Passing his test is next on the list but its just soooo expensive.

Just heard my hairdresser is expecting so I think I'll be making another baby hamper.

Tonight? Re-jigging OH's CV. I think he's making chicken pesto for tea. I need to sort out my work clothes as well and se if I can at least start making some room in drawers/wardrobe for the piles of stuff still in the spare room.

    Morning All, how is everyone?

OH did make chicken pesto last night for tea, I have the remainder for lunch.

Didn't do much last night, early night then I couldn't sleep!!!!

SS is being weird. OH wanted to go pick up my anniversary present today and asked SS to drop him at the shops on his way to physio. SS started being all cagey about when his appointment was. Really odd.

Well OH couldn't keep a secret its a pendant he got me. Even though I said no pendants. Its lovely but he's said I can swap it for a ring. Its lovely but too delicate to wear. Told OH about the spa day and he's not keen!!!!!

The friends that would like to KW are really watching the pennies and the ones that aren't watching the pennies would rather spend their money on other things.

We're taking my pendant back tonight. Its just not practical. Unfortunately I've found out OH bought it on credit (he paid a deposit, but we're not talking a small amount ). But this means I need to swap it for something out the same extortionate store. I'm angry at him for doing that and not listening when I said no pendants. Don't get me wrong its lovely, but its not something I'd wear. I feel like the whole weekend is ruined, after all this I can't be bothered with the day out tomorrow and the meal out tomorrow night. I'm fizzing he's spent money he's not got when he's not working.
