Home, tea was baked potatoes. Kitchen is tidy, living room relatively tidy. Quite nice looking into the spare room and not seeing a mountain of clothes on the bed.
I just need to tackle the rest of the house!
Packed lunches to make (OH on lates from tomorrow), clothes to sort out for tomorrow then bed.
Off to see whats on freebies and grabbit board.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
Hey there
Slowly catching up - I'm glad things are quiet with SS at the mo - you deserve some peace.
Good luck with the freebie board.

.......thanks Pippi how are you? always trawl the freebies board for little things for christmas stockings.
Is it bad to wish the kids were back at school? There's a load of under 10's outside screaming and shouting on their bikes going down the hill. Some of them should definitely be in bed!!!!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Must meet up again when you move Pippi. We still need to visit the island, but with both of us in jobs that if you're off you don't get paid then time off suddenly becomes expensive (but at least we're both in work).
Waiting on my extension going through at work, its with the agency now. They've given me another 3 months work.
Crafty stuff? Making good use of the new craft place I've found. I just have to plan it as its in the city and try not to make a special trip just to go there. Making baby shower invites, but making them look like nappies! Very excited as they look amazing.
OH on lates tonight so made his 'lunch' for work up last night when I made mine for today. Didn't have anything in and ended up in the local coop for stuff......expensive!!!! Then after packing my shopping they tried to charge me for the carrier bag!!!!
So I ended up with a pack of flatbread, salad, chicken slices and juice. £5! I'll stop in at Mr A's tonight and get some packed lunch stuff for OH as he's working through till saturday. I'm also going to pick up another set (got one already) of plastic drawers for me for my craft room as I can barely open the door to it without stuff jumping out at me. So I'm hoping I can sort it out whilst OH is on lates. Back room is looking good, just need to sort the clothes. SS still has a box in there but it can stay there and when he wants it I'll put it back in his room. Its got his protein powder in it. Surely after 18 months it'll be off?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I was very naughty last night. I bought a set of plastic storage drawers (£9) andI've realised they stack and clip together so I'm going to go get more tonight after I drop OH off. I'm hoping I can use them to get my craft room into some sort of order. I've seen similar style drawers in the craft magazines but they were hundreds of pounds so for £9 for 4 drawers I don't think thats too bad. The drawers are A4 size so perfect to store my card/paper/findings and I've decided to dedicate a couple of drawers to gift stuff. By this I mean things like the Thorntons chocolates I managed to get for £2, bottles of nice Virgin Vie shower gel I got in Home Bargains for 59p etc. This way I know where everything is and I'm not sifting through bags like last year and not finding things till March!!! I have £69 in the bank to last until tomorrow, £50 of which I'd like to put to my cc. I have £25 in my purse (Parking for work is £3) so it should be do-able even with buying another 2 sets of drawers. I'm planning on splitting one set down and adding it to the other two sets so that each has 6 drawers, this way its not too tall.
Colleague bought me a coffee this morning as a thank you for helping them out.

Ah you're sounding very organised indeed! And the wee drawers sound like a bargain so that's allowed!

Virgin Vie shower get for 59p?? BARGAIN!! They were usually priced between £5-£10 depending on the range! Hope you bought a load of them!!!
:T to your free coffee too!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
HAW, how are you? The drawers are an attempt to sort out my craft room as I can't see the floor. I would like to be able to use the room properly. Its just a box room but has a desk and a couple of bookcases (full) in it. But I moved the futon in there when SS moved in and I shouldn't have left it sitting I should have propped it up against the wall. I have an office chair in there and some great cube seats, hidden under all the stuff.
The shower gel, I didn't realise was Virgin Vie till I got it home. Its the gold one. I've never used their stuff before but I might end up using it as a present.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
