Morning All, how is everyone? Really tired this morning. Got to bed about midnight last night then had to go rescue the wheelie bin as it had toppled over in the high winds. Which meant getting back up (OH was sound asleep) and pulling the bin back in as i didn't want it causing damage to the car etc. The rubbish from our bin (which thankfully didn't have a lot in it) was all over the lawn along with rubbish from other bins all over the street (recycling bin day today so lots of light items). Was up mega early (5:40 ) as OH was wide awake and decided to go make a cup of tea for us. Starting to feel it now, even though I have had 3 cups of tea and 2 slices of toast!
Had email from a friend this morning and I need some advice please. Said friend phoned late on friday night and wanted a natter. Normally unless this was urgent I wouldn't be too happy but as OH was working I said ok. Now my friend was at a works night out and claimed they'd had a few to drink (but actually sounded VERY sober). They divulged that they hated their OH and that they wanted to end the relationship and that another woman we know has tricked her OH into thinking she was on the pill when she had stopped taking it as she wanted a 2nd child and her OH didn't. This woman (38) has a 6 year old son to this man and thet've been married 8 years. He is 49 this year and has a 17 year old daughter from a previous relationship. He'd told her under no circumstances did he want another child. Apparently the guy is compleetely freaking out and had told my friend he's thinking about insisting his wife get an abortion or they split as he doesn't trust her now at all. They told me other stuff that they'd done in the past that they regret and wished their life was different now as their family doesn't like their OH who became a parent at 16 and dumped their child to be with them. I really felt sorry for them and said if they were that unhappy then they need to end the relationship, as for knowing about the other woman we know deliberately getting pregnant I said not to get involved and try and give both of them a wide berth and hopefully they would sort it out. They said they felt a lot better after speaking to me. Fast forward to this morning and I get an email saying they have no recollection of anything after midnight and sorry if they woke me and ignore whatever they said....... convenient . I think they remember everything they said but now I feel like a total fool. I want to reply but don't know what to say? This isn't the first time they've done this. Every time they are away from their OH, the truth comes out and then my friend denies the whole thing. Help!!

Lots of positive vibes being sent your way for sure
Glad to hear things are a bit better at home with OH. I find it's better sometimes to ignore/avoid/run away rather than trying to keep the peacelol
Well done on the mobile ££, the shopping and the tarot. I'm sure you enjoyed the chippySomething I haven't had in a very long time!!

Hi again! Just seen that you posted whilst I was busy typing my last reply!
Agree with chev actually. Go for it!If they've a habit of getting you involved then un-involving you again, it needs to be stopped!

Did I mention being in the bad books with OH on Thursday?! Well, I'd brought our bin in after it got emptied, but with 2 bags of shopping to deal with too I forgot to bring the bin on in past the back gate (which needs opened from the inside), and forgot to say to OH, so the bin was left out all Wednesday night. Needless to say it disappeared. Found it beside next door neighbours car  Which obviously it had to travel past OHs car to get there.... Yeah. Ummmmm.... Not goodNothing as major as I envisioned when I realised the bin was gone but still

Thanks Chev, HAW, had wondered whether I reply with (as my friend knows fine well they phoned me) "you know what they they say, no such thing as a drunken liar" or "yes you said you'd phoned a few people that night and left messages" making them wonder who they've told what toCC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I would also be inclined to say that if they drink so much that they can't remember what they did then they need to speak to their Doctor and Alcoholics Anonymous as they obviously have a drink problem
Oh and as you have already talked to X number of other people (concerned like!) then forgetting what they said can't be done!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

This is what I emailed back (with names removed):
"Hi, yes I had a good weekend. Didn't think you would remember speaking to me or the other people you said you'd texted. You did say when you drink its the only time you feel yourself. Saw **** earlier. Better get back to studying.
Unix"
The name **** is the lady thats expecting. Who knows what the reply will be.
