    Aww Dragon :grouphug:

I got Glucosamine Sulphate on the freebies board (look for Zipvit), to help with my painful joints. Would this help? Can your gp not refer you to the pain clinic?

Pain Clinic have thrown me on the scrap heap , basically as I have been with them for more than my "Pathway" 3 years and I am getting no better (indeed getting worse) so no more help from then (oh unless my GP re refers me and then I have to go through the wait system again!) - oh and it is not my joints that hurt so much as the nerves are always firing with pain :(

Dragon, my SIL gets a lot of nerve pain. She got fed up with the doctors giving her so many pills she rattled when she walked. She's not long been referred to an alternative therapist (that took some doing talking her gp into it) but they are trying homeopathy and acupunture to help her. She's also had a diet screen to help find triggers. So far its come back with sulphates and sulphites. Which means things like bottled water will set her off.

Hmm wonder if something like that along with my hypothyroid is why I can't lose weight (even though I do everything by the book!)
