Dragon ......:rotfl:..... I couldn't stop sniggering either! Well no reply as yet. I cannot see how someone could sound so sober and not remember their conversation, oh well they are probably wondering if I said anything to the lady we know thats expecting!

Had a call from an agency about another job...... a rejection :(

Not in the CS till wed, which means no shopping till then (as all big supermarkets are in town where CS is and I'm trying not to drive unnecessarily). I ran out of butter so had to get one from the corner shop. This shop is relatively new and opened in a derelict building. Its lovely, bright, good stock range and ok prices (warburtons bread only 10p more than Aldi's!). I was expecting them only to stock big brands but they had a local one for £1, which is more than Aldis 89p one but needs must. I've drawn up the rest of my list and I need toilet roll, dishwasher tablets and some fridge and cupboard stuff. Estimated total is £24. That will give me enough for all lunches for me and OH this week, breakfast and dinners (this inlcudes OH's stuff for night shift) and a list of dinners to last ten days. I'm hoping I've over-estimated a bit but I'm trying to keep a note of Aldi's prices from each week. Does anyone know if poundland etc keep dishwasher tablets?

Gave OH his Valentine's present early. Bought him one of the 1990's JRR Tolkien Smaug the Dragon stamps. Only cost me a few pounds and guess what? He's bought me the Bunty one! I read that right through my childhood! :o

Hello All, how is everyone? Interview went well yesterday and I've been told I should hear late next week if I am through to the next stage. Parking cost me £5 :(. But it was relatively near the interview. I took a large black wool serape with my (modern style full length wool cloak) to put over my suit. Meaning I could stay warm without crumpling my suit. I bought the serape 18 years ago, and its been well used so I don't think it owes me anything. I bought it from Tie Rack when they had a shop in the train station in Glasgow. I think I paid £20 for it, which was a lot of money as I was a student at the time. I stopped off to see my Mum(at her work) on the way back and had a coffee, fruit salad and yoghurt for lunch together. I took Mum the CS stuff I had picked up for her (including a brand new pair of Ugg boots for £3). Mum gave me an extra £5 to cover my parking charges for my interview. She knows I'm finding it difficult at the moment.

I took quite ill last night and ended up with very severe heartburn. I tried milk, peppermint capsules and then bought Gaviscon tablets on route to taking OH to work (£3.29 for 16 tablets!), and they only took the edge off how badly I felt. Instead of doing some tarot I went to bed early. I felt positively awful and not up to doing readings. I was still in bed at about 8:30 this morning when SS brought OH home. I'm feeling a little better today but feel slightly flu-y if that makes sense. Scared to eat too much in case the heartburn comes back! I normally take steroid spray for a sinus problem which was making me deaf on one side (got given the spray a couple of weeks ago by my gp), I didn't take it last night or this morning as the thought of it (when feeling quite unwell) made me feel worse. So I am stretched out on the sofa and taking it easy and drinking plenty of fluids (weak squash or water).

No word back from my friend about my reply to their 'antics'.

  • Hey :D

Glad interview went well. I've everything crossed for you! :)

Hope you're not coming down with something :( Maybe you're just stressing about one too many things and it's wearing you down. Stay on that sofa and keep taking it easy! Get better soon!

lol :) They hiding from you?!

How is everyone? I had a reply from the friend! Just an email saying they couldn't go out this weekend as they had to work on sat, which was probably good as they'd drank so much last weekend and had plans to go out during the days with friends on the sunday as they couldn't stand being with their OH. Weird reply if you ask me but then again their behaviour last weekend was weird!!!!

Was hoping for an NSD today but OH wanted cigs, so nipped up to the shop and what did I spy? Refresher bars and Chomp bars! I had to didn't I? :D

Logged into tarot and had a couple of readings so far but its now gone quiet. Hoping it picks up later.
