The £2 will be going to pay the car tax. I have more in one of the piggy banks in the house but I need to dig it out. Hoping to clear more clutter on sunday, we're not going to Gran's this week and hoping to catch up on wrapping presents and making/writing the christmas cards.

Thanks HAW, Dragon. I called them and they don't have anything with it being so close to christmas. I called one of my friend's and she's given me name of someone to call on monday but thats for a job in the same place as I but a different department and location. OH, is trying to help but has said I need to get a proper job soon as he's putting a time limit on us having a baby, 2 years and then its not happening. Told him its not my fault I've been made redundant twice in 3 years and now this. :(. Miserable. One of the few friends I have at work (a permie) is phoning round a few people he knows to see if he can find me something. Now I wasn't expecting this at all. But he said its the least he can do for me picking up when his partner (he's gay so its not that he fancies me) left him.

So sorry about the job, I do so hope that you will find another one right after christmas. Why is it that some blokes seem to have the sensitivity of a house brick, your OH included it seems on this occasion. Hugs.

Thanks Maddiemay. The only bloke in the situation that doesn't seem to be insensitive is my gay friend. I cried buckets last night. OH gave me something to sleep last night and I was in bed for about 9:30 last night. Feeling like crap today but trying not to think about it. I was going to do some tarot but just too tired. We were up at 8 to take car for its MOT retest. They ended up having to fix the brakes  but as we wouldn't have been back in time before they shut they dropped the car back home for us. I still have the bill to pay (£45, already paid for the MOT and they've held my MOT till I pay the bill they know I'm good for it). OH had his check up after his op, saw my friend and gave her her pressie (she loved it :j so will post a pic of it here soon) she loved the fact it was all hand made by me, OH had a flying lesson I bought him for last christmas (only finally gotten around to booking it). When we came home we both fell asleep. Just having a cuppa then get ready to go to the cinema.

Tomorrow, present wrapping, tarot and job hunting. Though I don't think there will be much this time of year. :(
