I agree. Do not presume to speak for me to give credence to your assertions.

Ok point taken. I will go back and change it to 'I'. Happy now?

However I note that you don't take issue with her calling us scroungers and hypocrites, sticks and stones etc.

Apparently one netiquette rule for her but a different one for me.

So why quote it? If you are so offended, why not take a course of action that doesn't keep the offending post at the forefront of the thread?

I really don't get this logic - I am deeply offended by a post so I am going to quote it. Completely illogical.

Where did I say I was 'so offended' or 'deeply offended'?

I used the words - horrid - insulting - strange, so why do you assume I am offended?

I am use to certain posters displaying negative traits on this forum and while I think it is obnoxious, I can assure you it does not offend me.

If something offends me I will say so, and you will know, because I will use the word 'offended' or a variation of it at some point in my post.

So now your post to me is completely illogical.

ETA - I also wrote 'uninformed assumptions' and it would appear there are plenty of them from certain posters on this forum also...it would appear that even when a post is before you in black and white, you still make assumptions.

I am sure the post in question has been reported to abuse multiple times. If it is deemed to be abusive then I am sure it will be deleted.

However by quoting it you ensure that more people see this 'horrid insulting' to your mind post. I assume this was your intention?

Scrounger is not a word I use to describe anyone, more your word than mine.

Secondly how on earth can I be a hypocrite because I claim benefits myself when my sole state provided income is £260 a month SRP. Less than you claim per week I would suggest and I worked 40 years for my tiny stipend. I also pay £40 a week income tax so my net gain from the government is about £20 a week. Hardly bleeding the country dry am I?

Never ever claimed unemployment benefit, sickness benefit, maternity benefit, housing benefit or any other sort of benefit apart from family allowance.

I think the country needs more 'hypocrites' like me.

Krisskross you are very critical of anyone who does claim benefits, whether it be someone who needs them or not. I really couldn't care what you get, what you've got in the past or how much you've paid in the past. I just don't like the way you seem to attack claimants. Especially with snide comments when it's someone looking for advice. And Again I've never said you were bleeding the country dry. I am actually GLAD your husband is getting AA if he's entitled to it. But you really need to read your posts through sometimes. You know nothing about what I claim per week so let's not go there. Just because you've been able to work longer and pay more into the pot doesn't make you a better person than I. Nor I you. We have a difference of opinion.

Anny thank you. Yes it is very baffling for me trying to help my dd. I had no experience with the benefits system before her and my own condition got worse, so I can only draw from that experience. Unfortunately all people see is me making her worse than she is (if only!!). We're off tonight to try and get a contraception that will work for her as there was a paper written to say that the implants can make her condition worse, so with a bit of luck once she gets that out.... well we're keeping our fingers crossed :)

But some of the people on here who think ATOS are the dog's wotsits and can do no wrong. If only they had been unfairly treated by them, then maybe, just maybe, they would see it from the other side of the fence.

And no I'm not being racist when I said about the immigrants. The illegals need to be deal with a lot faster, if someone is coming to this country legally and willing to work then I'm all for it, especially the medical profession where we seem to have a severe shortage. But just maybe we should encourage our kids to go into those professions too.

Again Krisskross, I have never once called you or your husband a scrounger. So please read my posts carefully, it's something i have NEVER said. Hypocrite, yes. I did, scrounger? Definitely not.

Vincent - yes a lot of people seem to be giving out 0 hour contracts now. Call when required.... Shocking state of affairs.

No, my intention was to say much more to you regarding that post but I actually edited it because I felt it was too harsh - it is a shame that you do not read your posts before you press on submit reply and ask yourself - is this vituperative attack on this person really warranted?

Lets hope it is deleted, it should be - although I think it should be deleted by you because you seem to be in some doubt yourself if it is abusive or not by saying you are 'sure it has been reported to abuse multiple times'.

You cannot post an horrid post like that and then complain when someone quotes it, or do you not believe enough in what you are writing to 'stand by it'?

Irregardless, you wrote the post - you own it.

Now tell me what would be the point of my deleting it when you have quoted it?

Anyway it was my opinion and don't see why I should delete it because you don't approve. You see your opinion, a completely anonymous sanctimonious stranger on an internet forum, means absolutely nothing to me.

I don't think it was abusive but you obviously do although it has absolutely nothing at all to do with you. I suggest you put me on ignore....it is really easy to do, simply click on my username and it will be in the drop down box, then your sensibilities won't be assaulted by any more of my posts.

So you think I have munchausens. That's fine because I don't think much of what an anonymous sanctimonious opinionated old biddy has to say on a public forum either.

I'll add it to my ESA 50 for my next assessment. Diagnosis by Old Biddy on forums :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anny, don't let her get to you, seriously, not worth the hassle.

But ty krisskross. You do make me laugh :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    .

If someone comes to this country illegally then they aren't eligible to claim benefits you know, despite what the Daily Mail says and even the Mail doesn't talk about the as "the illegals", which is quite a shocking expression.

Also, we don't actually have any shortages in the medical professions, what we do have a great shortage of jobs in these areas, which is exactly the opposite.

No they aren't eligible to claim benefits, it doesn't stop it costing rather a lot to keep them.

No shortages in the medical profession now? Good. It's changed days. I still have no objections to people coming from abroad to work.

EDIT: I actually just looked and there are some specialities in medicine that there are still shortages in, but this was from Nov 11. Which is the latest I can find.
