They're silly examples when someone has the disabilities you have.

When you become disabled you need to retrain for a different career and not just assume you can't work at all just because you can no longer follow your original career. (That's the generic rather than the personal "you".)

That's just it though, no one will ever suggest a suitable job, one I can actually do, just throw loads of carp my way...

Where's your evidence it teaches the kids to do the same, my kids are doing quite nicely, their school reports are glowing, one wants to be a headteacher, one a social worker..

to be objective a lot depends on what your children DO end up doing, not what they want to do.

They could end up on benefits or be highly successful (as could mine), our children are too young to know. My children are bright (all in gifted and talented with SAT's way above the national average), but they could decide never to work.

Statistically over all - parents of stable households where both parents work or have worked and have CPD as an objective in whatever line of work, are more likely to have children who will acheive.

There are exceptions on both sides of course.

If anyone does suggest jobs - we are "cyberbulling" you, so people can't ever really go down that route.

Have you ever seen anybody to get any careers advice?

    I didn't mention your kids.
I said my gripe was with the ones that teach them to do it. we all know it happens
I never said being on benefits teaches kids to be on benefits.
However some parents do teach there kids the benefits of being on benefits.

    I didn't say you did,
You stated it teaches the kids to do the same as them..

I was trying to point out that kids do not always follow their parents..

Not since having a disability, I won't be able to do anything until I've had my neck decompressed,
Struggling to look after the kids as it is, can't afford to have another breakdown...

I want to be a counsellor, so would need to resolve the writing and sitting issues..

So what training are you doing? Have you applied to do the qualification ready for this? There are local courses (with FREE childcare) in most areas (bar the remote ones). There are distance learning ones?

    Are you already doing this?

Some of us, because of our circumstances, spend a lot of time on here...

I'd be interested to know how you find so much time to spend on here bashing benefits.
