Anyone who has had dealing with CSA how long do they take to actually do anything?? I sent forms in weeks ago, they rang to confirm they had received them and nothing has been heard since, it has been about 7 weeks I think..

You have to continuously chase them for everything. I have written to them, sent them forms, completed questionnaires, sent them photos that they requested - EVERYTHING...

They write to KH...he ignores them and the NEVER follow up...

    EVER!

You have to ask them to follow up... but then 10 years later, im still waiting for some money

IVe found it more effective if you write to them though instead of calling. The seem to deal with written requests and complaints far quicker than phonecalls.

Thats just my personal experience though - but keep at them.

I just gave up for a few years, here and there, and then would call again.

Finally I wrote to them and suddenly they are on the case.... Watch this space!

    If its gone, it's done!

    Monday - Kitchen and Hall
    Clean out fridge

    Tuesday - Living Room/Dining Room/Office
    HHI

    Wednesday - Stairs/landing/Airing cupboard/kids room

Thursday - Bathroom, shower room, toilet
    Clean the grout/seals
    Deal with any paperwork

Not too bad so far. Stripped all our beds and just remade, kids thought it was hilarious hiding inside the covers, cue lots of squealing a giggling. It's all in a pile in the hall. Will wash tomorrow, it will take two loads and I need somewhere to dry it all...

I did take the wee beasties swimming. DS was straight in, had to call him back for arm bands. He loved it and was paddling about after all the toys they chucked in. DD just wanted to play with the watering cans. Pleased I took them, it's the first time we've gone on our own but I managed with them both fine.

They are tired so hopefully a good sleep all round. DD seems to have grown out of naps, although she does sleep when the others do at nursery still.

We didn't have the bolognese, so that's for tea.

    What to do ............

DD is due her 2nd HPV jab next week but now I'm thinking of withdrawing my consent, there seem to be alot of scary stories around but she's already had the 1st jab and was ok - yes I know I should of researched it 1st!!! It only last as a preventitive for 4-6 years and hopefully DD isn't going to go around having lots of sex with lots of boys before she's 16 so what is the point of it? I get what it does but what I don't seem to be able to find out is why at the age of 12 its so important - if she was 18 or so I'd seriously be considering it but do the risks outweigh the good things at her age - ponder, worry, worry!!

I think they give the HPV so early because they are hoping to catch the girls beforehand IYSWIM

DD has had hers with no side effects.

if any of you shop at Asda check the coffees - lots RTC in mine (ex Netto) - other things in that aisle reduced too. Have already posted this in the grabbits. Mind you there isn't as much as there was BEFORE I got in there!

Not flown much. Feel overwhelmed; DS has announced more Uni open days. I am SO glad I only work PT

washing on line and tiles in bathroom bleached. HM soup simmering on hob. Cats puzzled - they can SMELL the chicken but so far their dishes are chickenless :rotfl:

Well done on taking the tots swimming on your own BossyMoo.

Such a relief. I cleaned all three bath and shower rooms, including performing surgery on the disgusting shower plugholes yesterday, so for once I am ahead of the game. (Mind you, aside from them and the now ex-Room of Doom, bu**er all else from the Flying lists has been done this week but as everyone says, they all come around next week anyway so that lets me off the hook pretty neatly.)

The dog and I are both exhausted, so we're having a day off.

The lady who is staying in my office is a violinist and she's asked if we'd mind if she practices. It's like having your own private concert. Lovely.
    Better is good enough.

Toilet fully functional - all innards replaced!

Apparently the toilet unit itself is well made but the innards were not of good quality - thank you B&Q!

Piggers - I'd hang on to your Victorian one - they were made to last ( unlike mine...)

i think the reason they don't give it at 18 is that it would statistically be too late for a large number of girls ( not that I'm saying your DD would :o:o - my girls are 18 and 21 and the number of girls they know who lost their innocence at 13/14 is frightening!) Mine both had it with no trouble - and i would do it again in a heartbeat...

Dogs have been outside for a game, in the rain.:D They had a grand time, and were so good about being toweled down and having their feet wiped.:T

The lounge carpet is covered in dog hair again; but I'm thinking to leave it til they go home tomorrow afternoon, then have Mr Dys0n do his magic. Bailey hates vacuum cleaners, and tbh, if I do it now, it'll be just as bad again by tonight, so might as well save Bailey the stress and myself the extra work. Does this make me a lazy mare?

CY I'm glad you have a properly functional loo again.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • lazy mare?

NOOOOO - it makes you rational and logical!
