  • well the old bathroom suite was a tasteless chocolate brown - and the kids were mortified when the bathroom fitters left the old suite on the drive for 3 days before consigning it to bathroom heaven ( or hell)!!!

Thanks for your lovely words everyone. The fact that I managed to deal with the Room Of Doom was entirely down to what I have learned following this thread for three months so mega thanks all round.

I have almost finished cleaning the office as it has been let for two nights and the lovely lady who is staying in it will arrive at 10.45am tomorrow. I would have finished it, but the dog has decided the only place in the house she can have her nap is just inside the door, so I can't hoover the bit under her and can't shut the door so I can get to the sink to give it a thorough going over. (Grrrrrr - that's her when I try and move her - not really, she's four months off being 16 and the sweetest natured thing I've ever met. I can't bear to disturb her!)
    Better is good enough.

Dusty - I keep going to the back door and looking at the Garden - it looks so neat, neater than anywhere in the house lol

    Rowan - hugs

Decluttered DS's homework with him, DD is doing hers and has been since 4.30 - thats when she could get into the DR to sit at the table so she could do it so the DR is tidier, amazing what incentives can help you achieve - detention cos she didn't have anywhere to sit and do her homework would of been soooo embarrasing for me!!

Just got DH to draw a template of a Heart so I can make a cushion - he can draw, I can't.

The master list is the list in the first post.. not a separate thing.

I think you are mixing it up with what most of us call the Toots List.. it is just a list of jobs that needs doing in your house... you build your own there isn't one done for you as everyones home is different and at different stages

or the washer on the valve has died/moved/split.. we had that on ours once in the old hovel.. I needed a wee constantly because the running water could be heard all over the house!

Beastlets in bed.. mostly.. Dot screaming because she is tired.. will she sleep?.. of course not!

DS3 at Diabetes clinic tomorrow and I may pop to see my nanna while we are there if there is time (she fell down the stairs and fractured her hip on Monday and got up, went to ring my dad.. he took her to A&E in the car, she walked in.. the staff said it wasn't broken as she could walk then almost died of shock when it was! lol)

*sigh* I have so much stuff to do..
