Dusty - no we're not moving, DD is in a middle school 8 miles away but in another county! She's in yr8 and finishes at her current school in July [middle schools only go to yr8] so we are looking at coming back into the county where we are - lots of schools but alot of them are poop! The school she is at now is a feeder school for several other schools in the other county but they are over 20 miles away and the transport costs make it unfeasable. We will put her down for the school we like and hopefully get in if not we'll have 2 other schools on the application form - I'm hoping the next 2 schools are good so we can go to any of them - thats if the Council agree to us going to any of them - they are notorious for plonking kids anywhere even at poor schools that aren't on the form!! Friends got offered a school over 10 miles away from them that was graded poor and it was 9 miles past their local school and it wasn't on their application form. We have just over 2 weeks to get it sorted or poop and fan come to mind lol.Projects made for craft fair - 40

Good evening

On the plus side - DH has cleared out the cupboard under the stairs :T He has stashed some stuff in the loft, and found a load of pampered Chef stuff that I now need to Ebay  (I used to be a consultant) DD1 is going to have a few bits. I have started a CS bag as well. Unfortunately, there was some nibbled paper - so we may need to investigate further
On the minus side - we have a burning smell in the utility room
There is also a rather ominous 'sparky' sound coming from the boiler. I have turned the boiler off at the mains (and put on another jumper!) Luckily we have an electric shower
I will phone someone tomorrow (don't want to pay Sunday call-out charges!)
lasagne cooked. Going to dish up now
