She is heartbroken - she had hoped surgery would be the end of it....
So now we have to persuade the GP to give her the pill - ( they keep refusing on the grounds of her mobility - but she is pretty mobile now.... but we will have to convince them.....)PS I think I might have a problem- throwing stuff out makes me feel quite sick....but I like the space it leaves, and recycling makes me feel slightly better.
I feel sick.:( Got a letter from the hossy today, with an appt to see the rheumy on 13th Nov. I was convinced they'd signed me off and not bothered to tell me, as I should have had an appt back at the beginning of Sept, but nothing came. So GP said she'd put a foot behind them. Now Mr LW has to beg to have an Early shift the day of my appt, as he's not allowed any leave in Nov and Dec that hasn't already been approved (which is why he's using up his leave this coming week, so as not to lose it). I also have to go and have a blood test urgently, so that the results will be available when I see the rheumy, and anyone who knows me knows that I have a severe needle-phobia; so hoping this can be done this week while Mr LW is on leave. Why is having a chronic illness so effin' complicated??:( *cries*If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Lw - I'll help out if you need it - if MrLW can't get the time off I'll some with you to the hossy, we can met up 1st so you know me better, just shout if you want me

Sorry to hear that Helen, have you found any you like? I need to do my online application this weekend.
Only laundry and tidying done here today. Have done an hour in the garden, sorted a bit of the log store with DH and taken DS1 to the shops to get clothes for work, lots of bargains so he is happy and managed to get him shoes too (very difficult feet we all have).
Dinner next and deleting a few emails then an evening of strictly. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
On here to avoid strictly, sorry strictly fans. I've taken the dogs for another very long walk, made the yorkshires, some carrot soup and we've had tea.
Just having a cuppa, will then need to groom the dogs.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

He's going to email the guy doing next month's rota - someone has to have the early shift that day, so he's going to ask that it be him. I really do want him along, as I'm terrified of hospitals and medical bods generally, and the rheumy is quite a bully and can easily reduce me to tears.:( (F'r instance, when I asked how on earth to manage the chronic fatigue, her answer was "Just go away and live with it".)
What I may need is an escort for the blood test, at Great Holm Surgery, if they can't fit me in when he can come with me; this will, however, also involve carting a semi-conscious Wolf home and depositing me gently on my sofa; the last time they put a needle anywhere near me, I collapsed outside the surgery afterwards.
Anyways, I'll know more re that on Monday - we're going to pop up there first thing Monday morning and see how the land lies.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Hello
I have been awol all weekIt has been another busy one. Kitchen is tidy, and LR. I have been keeping on top of things (with much help from DH :T)
I had someone round on Friday to look at my planning & learning journeys so I can get accredited. She was happy with what I was doing, so I must be doing something right
DH was called to a meeting at work re his future. They had been told that they will be getting rid of their section, and to look for other jobs withing the organisation. they would be given preference over other applicants, blah blah blah. He thought they were going to present him with a few options to go for, etc. Instead they informed him that they are moving him to a small team working on some project. He is guttedHe is a manager, and his strengths are managing people. His weakness is project work! At least he is based in the same building, which is local. He was so upset yesterday
Today, DH has been keeping busy by tidying up the gardenI have been to art, washed & dried 2 loads and cleaned the shower. We also did a food shop. Oh, and I managed to fling an old buggy (for £20
) and the front windows are clean (thanks to the the window cleaner
)
Tomorrow I need to do some studying (I sound like a broken record!)
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them0 -
