    Morning All

Just going to have a bath then get my stuff together for the Beaver sleepover. So I need to go about 8.45 and will be back around 4 tomorrow and probably asleep on the settee by 4.30! So don't worry if the thread is late tomorrow - I'll probably be asleep!

Jazee - hope DS is sorted soon.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Well just sitting here enjoying boiled eggs and soldiers. Now why don't I have a breakfast like this more often, oh I know, its because I've got to rush to get things done!

Had a long chat with DH last night about DS. He says not too worry, DS has had this twice before and recovered each time, so I am trying not to worry.

I was really good last night and caught up with the ironing and done a menu plan and shopping list for this week, so I don't have to think about those today.

    My list for today:

    Walk dogs
    Hoover downstairs
    Do shopping
Help DD with uni application (this will be fun, she is really stressed about everything at the moment)

I will stay calm, I will stay calm.

    Juliejim, enjoy the sleepy thing.

    Catch you all later
Spend less now, work less later.

Morning all...what no Saturday list?...thank goodness i still have to do Thursday and Fridays:)

Bossymoo...my little girl is 13months, i'm only sitting her on the potty when i go to change her and she hasn't wet her nappy, i figure it will hopefully make her lass scared of the potty and ultimately get her potty trained sooner. Who knows though, this is my first time at doing it so we'll see.

I am going to attempt to get the lists boxed off this weekend so i can start fresh next week, definately found this thread motivating:)

ecoelle.. I sit mine on the potty at bathtime and whengetting dressed in a morning and just keep the potty about so they are used to sitting on it. Squeak would not have a nappy off unless she was going to have a bath, she screamed for it back on. Day 1 of potty training she spent most of the day laid on the floor screaming for a nappy on! and days 1-3 she cheered when we put one on for bed. So she has gone from that to being pretty much done in a week.. she has done really well. Learning to recognise the peepee dance and get them to wear underwear is the challenge. Once you have caught the first couple of wees they know what you expect of them and usually pick it up really quickly. Of course getting a jelly baby for performing always helps :p

Both girls fed and watered, Squeak just trotting off to drag OH out of bed lol..

    Todailies..

    WM
    TD
    Laundry shuffle
    DW
    Kitchen emptied, swept and mopped
    Buy batteries, cat flap
    Post ebay gubbins
Clean cabinet which is selling on ebay today

DD2 has to strip her bed so we can do a mattress swap then her and DS2 are vacumming the North wing (2 bedrooms, bathroom & WC and the landing) DS2 is changing the bedding on his and DS3's beds. If they are big enough to stay here when the others go to KH's they can work!

  • You're all an inspiration! I only discovered this thread last week and I've achieved so much around the house. Thank you :)
  • Less than 3 weeks after surgery to remove her cyst DD1 woke this morning with chronic pain.....

She is heartbroken - she had hoped surgery would be the end of it....

So now we have to persuade the GP to give her the pill - ( they keep refusing on the grounds of her mobility - but she is pretty mobile now.... but we will have to convince them.....)

CY.. If they wont let her have the pill would she be able to consider something less disruptive? Implant or patches or even the mirena coil (though I would actively dissuade her from any coil unless it was the very very last resort!) These have a much lower hormone level so should be better with reduced mobility. I bet she is gutted! It is not good at all. That is the problem with cysts though they come and go and some don't like the going part :( They are very sore! :(

Squeak has dragged OH out of bed lol.. it took her 20 minutes but apparently she was jumping on the bed yelling come on Daddy so he gave in lol.

He can now stop pretending to be asleep and watch these 2 while I go find floor in the girls room so I can get him on to his next task :p
