ionafan - hope that everything continues to work out for you and DH

Honey Bear - well done on clearing all that gibble!

mummysroyof3 - sorry to hear about your guinea pig.

dancemum - glad to hear your DH is home and on the mend

Hope I've not missed anyone - hugs and positive vibes to all who need them.

I didn't get on yesterday - so tired with my new job and the bus journey. My car has been repaired so I drove today which was nicer. I've been doing the basics of washing dishes, tidying up etc but nothing more so far this week. I knew this week would be difficult starting a new full time job, so I'm not being too hard on myself about it. I will write down the lists whilst I'm watching TV now and then at 9 I will do a HHC on tackling the lists.

CY mine does that sometimes, if you lift the top off, there is a cable connecting the button and the flushing mechanism, it sometimes gets jammed. Give it a gentle tug to ease it back, and that should stop the cistern from Continuously emptying.

Pixie my master list is just my own list of jobs I've spotted as I go round, like putting curtain rails up, oiling the gate hinges etc. As for general cleaning, I tend to follow the ones on here. Each night the following days chores are added to the first post, so by Thursday night, there is a week full. Sometimes the extras change, eg we don't want to defrost the freezer every week. but everything crops up eventually.

But, if you did want a more comprehensive list, you could search housework schedules, here is an example:
    http://www.moneycrashers.com/weekly-house-cleaning-schedule-template-checklist-chart-printable/

    Hope that helps!

Well, I am bushed tonight. So pleased about my 11 days off! Am going to be productive. The little ones want to go swimming tomorrow, and we have toddler group on Fri. Next week they are at nursery 3 days, and then are going to seaside with granny and gramps fri to mon! So, much as I will be lonely and miss my babies, I gets lots of me time and will be able to do JOBS!

    Batch cooking alert!

In my HHC I managed to:

    Finish washing up
Pack up some books to take to charity
    Sweep, hoover and mop kitchen
    Tidy shoes
    Dust dining table and chairs
    Dust TV and windowsill
Hoover dining room and living room including sofas

Then I played with the cat to cheer him up as he hates the hoover :p

Managed a few things off the list but generally I'm pleased with what I've achieved. I find this thread so motivating :T

Tomorrow I will do what I can in between work during the day and running club in the evening.

Bed time - good night all!

Good morning ladies. Chilly here in Essex. DH left an hour ago and our bed is rather colder now. Must dig out the winter quilt.

No work today. I'm trying a new hairdresser today. It was a spur of the moment thing in the high street yesterday. I hate going to the hairdresser more than I hate the dentist.

MumofJust2 husband decluttering vibes for court today.

Jazee I hope your concerns for your son are easily resolved.

    Good day wishes to everyone.
