Gosh he will be in a panic ellemm - hope everything will be Ok. At least snow waited until DS2 got back to Tain and we didn't have any breaks booked although we nearly did. Poor DD upset as she was due to work all weekend and I expect the Chocolate Factory will be closed tomorrow if not Sunday and probably be quiet. DS3 has the weekend off but he will have bother walking home tonight in all the deep snow. DD says some peeps who had their cars down the town were having to push them out of drifts earlier too.

Round where I live ellemm it's considered a swear word (I suppose depending how you say it!) it's just now my son thinks its funny to go round calling his dad a fanny!

I know it used to be a name years ago but I'm wondering if everyone will start calling their baby it now!

I will be still entering for the coffee machine as I would love one but this make does look strange!

Ellemm - I do hope that your OH's Cousin is OK. It must be hard not hearing anything. Do let us know when all is OK.

Ellemm- like other people have said, I'm sure it's just phone lines down and roads closed. It's so strange being in a snow free London (for now) and reading about this. Hope she's able to get back in touch x

On a totally trivial note- I think the coffee machine looks like a little smiley face. Or possibly a robot from Wall-E. I'll be entering tomorrow as I'm a coffee fiend!

Thanks everyone, am sure she will be OK. Just had long chat with her husband, think he felt better after a natter. He couldn't get through to any of the hotels on the phone.
