We have just negotiated our car insurance - hard work! We had a price match but wanted to increase milage incase ours went up this year (as if!) Eventually saved £38 and added another 2,000 miles to annual cover. Paying £151.32 which is pretty good I think as we have legal protection and protected no claims on that. I did the internet stuff and DH did the phoning and says he got a real w*nker first time he phoned! :rotfl:

More and more cases of ATM cards being trapped by a criminal spring type mechanism.
Apparently they are taking advantage of anti-skimming slots on some machines to insert their card traps!


Spotting the traps is virtually impossible!

Sylvia-just phoned cousin's husband, he still can't get through on phones and we know the road is still closed due to snow but he is sure she is safe and OK and probably as frustrated not being able to make contact

I was in a bit of a grump this morning when I hubby went into town clothes shopping but left me without any milk for kids brekkie or my coffee! I need a coffee to wake me up! I've had my coffee now, washer on, hoovering done beds made so I must get a few Times comps done!

ILC, it is worrying about the cash machines getting targeted. I saw on a programme where there was a girl stood behind someone and she dropped a fiver on floor just as person was about to withdraw and she would tap them on shoulder to say money fell out of pocket, as the person picked it up thinking she was genuine someone would be at side of them ready to take the cash as it came out the machine! I always cover my pin.
