Guess what DH and I have been doing! Pleased to report that our car was under the pile of snow. Have cleared the path and part of the drive too. Just need the council to plough some roads now. Some of our trees and shrubs are about flat under the weight of the snow.
Hope everyone else is OK.

Glad you managed to find the car Sheils! Just remembering back to last year we were sitting in the garden in March it was beautiful. Mom always used to remind me that when I was born in April 1947 they had to clear a path for the doctor to get through as we lived in a prefab and it was really bad snow.

DD came and picked me up with the GK's and we took them to McD's which was heaving with peeps but the kids enjoyed it so that was good.

Sounds like you are having it bad too Firefly, just had an eamil from my other DD and she has it really bad too. Hope it clears soon as we are supposed to be going there for Easter.

Must get on and do my magazines to get them out of the way.

We haven't had any snow since this morning, thankfully. Still haven't heard from my cousin.

Have had a busy day even although not left the house. Renewed the Annual travel insurance, bought 12 ebooks and loaded them on to our ereaders, finished parcelling up all the birthday pressies/cards for the family who have birthdays while we are away- 4 adults and 5 children!

We bought a new vacuum yesterday and OH is giving it a test run at the moment!!

April 47 must have been a good date!

We had some lovely days out last March and after our last two breaks thought it might be the same this year. It is such a shame the weather is going to spoil people's Easter breaks. This will be the first Easter we haven't been away althought some years it has been to The Canary Islands. Have normally had one nice week in UK when staying though. Our school holidays don't start until Friday.

Glad you aren't worried Sylvia. Don't let things upset you, my motto but doesn't always work.

Great you are organised with the prezzies elle. I am like that. My parents will be away for DS3 and DDs birthdays which will be a shame but quite often happens.

Great you had the answer for Alison FF - wish peeps would read the posts properly!

Think of the cream as preventative wingo - well done! I actually really like the oil of Olay one I won on the daillies.
