Still no snow here (not that I want it) but its really cold in the house too even with heating on. I can't wait to see leaves back on trees and flowers blooming!

Well done FF but glad I didn't win it!:rotfl: DH loves garlic but isn't allowed it very often as it seems to stay on his breath for days no matter what he does. Don't think any deliveries would have come near us today anyway as road hasn't been ploughed. Been no sign of any buses or bin lorry either.

Wingo I think when the snow stops here it is on its way east - sorry!

I can imagine Sheils....we've had all kinds of weather last few weeks and it's snowed more times than I can remember! We will probably get sun in December!

I meant to ask Sheils.....is f@nny really a popular name in Scotland? have you seen the new Irn Bru ad? :eek: my son couldn't believe it and was in fits of laughter saying it was rude!

As much as I would love to win the Illy coffee machine what's in tomorrows Times comp, does anyone else think it looks like a petrol pump?

I've never heard the name Fanny here either. In fact, the only Fanny I can think of :rotfl: is Craddock

Freezing cold here, still blowing a gale but at least we've had no snow today :T

Just been looking out at our road and the snow lying on it is at least a foot deep. No-one can be risking going about. DD went to build a snowman just before dinner and the snow went over her wellies in the garden and they are long Hunter Wellies . (Ribena win) Not being used to snow we are total wimps about it - the drifting is scary.
