Hiya All!
sorry I've not been in the inn for a long time
hugs and kisses to everyone that needs them
me and Alice are offf to sunny Southport tomorrow for a week for some much needed respite so won't be around all next week
we are going on the Vitalise Alzheimers week as kindly suggested by Mamzie which I have also booked to go again in July
you won't believe how much the 2 holidays have cost me - £3,000
and a further £400 for holiday insurance
we are having major problems with the care companies that Social Services have provided and we are now in the process of changing care providers again this will be the third company in 6 months
the first care company allowed Alice to slip out of her toileting sling and Alice ended up in A&E for 8 hours with a suspected fractured hip the second care companies standard of care was simply appalling
I have told my social worker that I now want to have direct payments so that I can bring in my own carers and I just hope that everything goes smoothly this time - third time lucky?0 -

Hope you have a good time Amilucky? Hope the snow stays away for you next week too.
Today has been terrible, the snow is drifting against the houses and coming in the doors when you try and open them. I have never seen snow like this before and the winds are making it so much worse. Due to continue all night as well. Hope everyone else is OK.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
