Any update Stu_Dent? I'm in the same boat as caroleanneclark and don't want to get one of these if they're prone to breaking.

    Thanks

Well, I've got a U600, I got it at the end of May and I am totally in love with it! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'd thoroughly recommend it to you!

    Hi,

I am currently in dispute with bothOrange and Samsung regarding my Samsung D900 mobile.

It has developed a faulty screen and was sent off for inspection by Samsung's engineers. They have said the screen is broken and offered to repair it for £47.

I insist that it it is a manufacturing defect as the phone has not been dropped or subjected to any missuse and have refused to pay, so my phone is being returned to me.

Orange will not replace it, Samsung don't want to know. What should I do?

Sell it on ebay mate... u'll be supprised how much u will get... i regularly buy broken laptops and rebuild and resell it... i am not sure with phones but the laptop screen is very very easy to replace... in fact, u might even be able to replace the screen urself but i'm not sure how much it will be alhtough i doubt it will be expensive

    Hi,

Just wanted to tell you my little story.

I've had a D900 since Oct '06. About 4 wks ago the same happened to my phone, the screen smashed!

I rang 02 and told them what happened, they told me they were gonna send me an email with the Ref No. and address where I was to send the phone.

    I did this Recorded £4.82.

And I got my phone back about 4 days later! New referb I think! As I have had nothing but problems now.

    It's going back Monday.

And all of this for free ( I also have no insurance )
The bloke on the other end of the phone must of liked the sound of my voice?

Can anyone tell me how long your battery lasts once it has fully charged.?

I'm having major problems. Only lasts a day and if the battery is on 1 bar when I turn it of, it won't turn back on again!!!

    Thanks

    Katie

that sounds like a knackered battery to me
  • My daughter's LCD is going on her Samsung D900. Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced place to take it or send it for repair please? I noticed you can buy new LCD screens with fitting instructions on eBay but I feel quiter nervous about doing it myself.
