I couldn't phone ahead as I wouldn't know what parking was like/available until close by.
Edit: No ... can't bring myself to do that .... might just have to find the inner strength to go and get it in 1-2 hours' time
Get the delivery.
Seriously.
No one should do it regularly (less its free because you are so close and it's a big city) but after a first week of new job...do it. Have a lovely bath/shower, get into comfy clothes/pjs, and get a plate ready.

You could phone ahead, you could even ask where is easiest to park. If parking is a problem they will know this and keep food hot until you arrive.
If you have a delivery it is still necessary to get dressed to some extent!:eek:I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Not really, unless she plans to order from them again0 -
Collecting is £5.
Home delivery is minimum order, so probably £10-£12.
And don't say "order extra, you can eat it tomorrow" - that's what I do with £5s worth0 -

Well, stop it. Relax, feel the power of the nice people saying.....just relax, spoil yourself...just once, you never have to do it again, but you deserve to be spoilt just once at least. You don't want to drive, you have had a week earning, you are not in debt and a takeway is a treat for you, so make it a proper treat.
Also, if you go out its a Saturday night, more layered up people about.0 -
