And I don't like beer
A new indian's opened and usually a veg biryani's £7 on everybody else's menu, but this one does them for £5 and they're just as good as the other one I tried.
One biryani = 2 meals.
Reminding myself I have chips in the freezer.... I could just knock up a cheese omelette, chips and beans. I'll do that. I'll get an indian another time.
Loving being "home alone" .... it's reminded me how lovely living alone is .... LL's back in 3 days0 -

Well, I would order something new and more expensive, so a curry with some rice or a naan, or tandoori prawns (that will blow the budget)...- ah, but you dislike seafood, right? Hmm, Starter of something, a meat curry (korma, passander, whatever you like or have fancied trying but never have) some saag bhaji, or bringal bhaji (mmmmmmmmmm) a peshwari naan,
Do they do puddings? Rasmolai? (spelling wrong) very sweet and not every bodies cup of tea, dh adores. Gulab Jamin.....like a donut meets a rum baba on a rainy day?0 -
Right - oven's on, eggs are whipped, chips are on the tray, beans are in a pot for nuking.0

I never have a starter, never have desserts (dislike indian desserts). One curry/rice is more than enough for me. If I order side dishes then I'll have more leftovers .... that's why I just order one biryani and it does for two meals
When I say I don't like indian desserts, I've only had one, donkey's years ago.0 -

Heehee, that's why we almost never get rice.....we have a bread instead, but I love the veg dishes the best. Apart from tandoori prawns, Which I almost never get.0 -

Chips are in now. I've got about 15 (12's a portion, so 15's a piggy treat). They're bigguns, so packet says 30-35 minutes.

Yep, thinkipng about this, dh and I do share an Indian takeaway, though we do get veg too, so ours does two meals (bigger than yours cause opf veg) but on the same day.
Biriyani has its veg to, which is fine, but ....ooooooh. Saag bahji.........
Hmm. I have to go and make some pasta for dh now. (we were meant to have roast beef but this took too long and he wanted me to sit here and chat with him while I chatted here!
