DW is always on at me to find a modelling agency for the DKs but I'm not sure it is the best thing for them ...DD1 is already quite precocious enough as it is...still being a WAG has got to be a cheaper option than sending them to Uni :)

Some of the yummier local mummies take their kids modelling.

You don't make much money out of it as a rule unless you become The Face of Xxxxxx. You get some nice photos as a positive but they miss school.

    It's tempting but I'm Out.

Wow, that was a cold, windy night. Good luck today people in the Sussex/Surrey area, I hear that the roads are totally slammed.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I thought it wasn't good for us to live in a sterile environment anyway?? We've evolved to live surrounded by bacteria, and we have immune systems for the purpose. The important thing is to avoid the really nasty ones. I'm careful with anything involving raw meat, but fairly casual about lots of other things, and we don't seem to get ill any more than anyone else.

Yes, I completely agree :) I was more hoping to point out that disposable plates/ cutlery etc wouldn't be completely bacteria-free and that so long as the principles of good hygiene were followed (and that there didn't seem to be any problems as is), not to worry too much.

Drat, I have to go to a funeral in the Chilterns tomorrow, driving up and down hills and cross country:(.

Hope that everything goes well today for you and that your journey is a very safe one, I never like funerals as I am a very emotional person, just one of those things I suppose.

Thank you for your kind thoughts...:)

By goodness I am cold...13 degrees in my bedroom!

We have a good layer of snow, the roads are pretty horrendous and I am about to do battle with getting the boys to school.

I am not looking forward to it.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

And ice inside here again :o.

Roads and rail etc fine though, so dh on his way. Wood burner lit.

We also lost a fence panel in the garden overnight, so no putting the dogs out unattended till the weekend when we can get it fixed.

Sorry you are having these difficulties.

It's really unusual that you are snowed in, whilst in N London (50 miles away??) we had no snow at all, and the sky is blue this morning with brilliant sunshine. Freezing cold, though.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Very bad here, in West Kent. Blizzard conditions most of the night and still this morning. Dog won't be going for his walk for a while.

Beautifully sunny and clear here in the North West, though icy cold.

One of the trucks still has ice on it from its trip down from Glasgow yesterday and todays fun is the 5 hour wait on Eurotunnel.

Best wishes from me too viva
