Hope all goes well tomorrow, viva (travel and everything else).
I think I might have mentioned before, but my mum and I went to an open day at the local crematorium once. No-one else in the family was interested in our day trip though...
Was really interesting. We've also been into the local Mason's Lodge. It was funny how many people my mum knew there (she works in a public-facing role in the town and has done for many years).0 -

Who said fashion isn't glamorous?
Mind you our house model is so perfect no-one believes we don't PS her. No cellulite (as she is sporty) no blemishes, perfect teeth etc etc. Don't know which dogs are coming tomorrow.....maybe both so they'll be in shot off and on during the day.
We have 2 girls tomorrow and another shoot Thursday with a gorgeous leggy mixed race girl with stunning big afro-ish hair plus our real life WAG. (OH plays for A****nal and we got to go in the VIP box recently)
If anyone does Instagram we post up during the day...just search the brand name.vivatifosi wrote: »Chilly:eek:.... Your poor models. You should be right on the money this year though fc, so I'm wishing you much good fortune as I see that even M&S have bodycon dresses in their latest output.

Funnily enough, the dresses are kind of core now + we cleaned up with unitards + bodies the past 3 months. The thing I am concentrating on at the mo is a web customer in the Middle East where we are having a 'moment' so making the most of it whilst it lasts. The big pat on the back with that market is that those women can buy anything they want in the whole world so to have bestsellers with them for a few months is a major achievement.
The buyers were telling me that they don't have to do discount codes out there either to make a sale, just have the right product as there is s certain amount of price insensitivity.chewmylegoff wrote: »Oh balls!
I'm going skiing again on Wednesday night. It bloody snowed everywhere just before we went last time. I bet gatwick gets buried.0 -
Snow here too and we have photo shoot tomorrow. People coming in from all over and each one essential. Praying roads /trains work properly tomo am.
Worse, we have booked an hour (via security) to access a truly rotting, derelict room with great outlook which will be absolutely freezing. In fact, we chose it because it had a large rotting old radiator in it for them to stand by....which will also be freezing.
Going to take some fleecy blankets in to wrap around the models in between shots.
Still they should have no trouble looking moody and pert
Edit: x-posted with FC:)

The good fortune thing...I think we are so singed by the past we can't really enjoy it but each month I feel I have settled into this new role....it was Aug 2008 we did that 1st delivery to the e-tailer.
I was trying to work out how many dresses / pieces we manufactured last year + I think it was about 40,000 units.0 -

The studio shots will be fine though.
We are on the roof on Thursday in hotpants and bodies :eek:0 -
DW is always on at me to find a modelling agency for the DKs but I'm not sure it is the best thing for them ...DD1 is already quite precocious enough as it is...still being a WAG has got to be a cheaper option than sending them to UniI think....0

Surely, prospects-wise, it's a really big difference between being a G and a W? You could say that's a really big graduation day for them.
Anyway, I wouldn't wish that on your DDs.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Child modelling is hard on the kids as it's quite dull as lots of hanging around then smiling or whatever to order and to perform to the client/photographers spec.
She's a lovey educated wag who has 2 kids (small ones) is 23 and French. Very hardworking too though when asked to bring some black heels for the last one she came with a more than grands worth of real Chanel ones. Made a nice change from the River Island ones we were going to use

Thank you. She is asleep now, obviously, but I will tell her in the morning.Whilst all that has been said is true, if you're not experiencing any specific problems, I wouldn't change anything. General good hygiene should be fine. We area covered with bacteria, inside and out, and for the most part this is beneficial. I wouldn't leave my washing up sponge festering in the sink - better that it dries out, and would wash the tea towel regularly etc. but even disposable things will not be sterile...
I thought it wasn't good for us to live in a sterile environment anyway?? We've evolved to live surrounded by bacteria, and we have immune systems for the purpose. The important thing is to avoid the really nasty ones. I'm careful with anything involving raw meat, but fairly casual about lots of other things, and we don't seem to get ill any more than anyone else. It's weird what people will reject a house for. I've seen houses where other viewers just turned around and walked out because they didn't like the furniture. It made me want to say, "You do understand that goes with them don't you?" but I didn't.
Years ago, when DS was three and a half, I explained to him that we were going to move house. He was very distressed, until we discovered that he thought we would have to leave behind not only all the furniture, but all his toys etc as well. On being reassured that the house contents would come with us, he was quite happy to move. Thanks for this.
I have a complexion that not only burns easily but also seems to redden very quickly so I try and aviod the sun as much as possible - so no doubt instead the vitamin D defficiency will lead to ricketts.
But your skin should be super-efficient at making vitamin D from even the tiniest amount of sunlight, if I have understood correctly.Hope all goes well tomorrow, viva (travel and everything else).

LNE went for a tour round a crematorium as part of his training to be a vicar. He said it was fascinating.
Viva - best wishes from me too.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
