    Yes, cloths.

I don't wear anything to clean if its just me here. :)

Saves getting clothes dirty :) Bit less 'specialist' than cleaning wearing a terry nappy too!

Drat, I have to go to a funeral in the Chilterns tomorrow, driving up and down hills and cross country:(.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Just wanted to say how pleased I am to see everyone discussing their skincare in the sun strategies. But more than anything else I'm thrilled that Bertie is OK and has had the problem sorted.

She was in robust health, but slipped and suffered a paralysis from the fall. ( she had arthritis which she had injections for last year, it's probable there was degeneration in her spine, probably in her neck, which lead to this)

Old girl is continuing to astound, still here, and the herd are huddling together for comfort. The vet was just so fab yesterday and we were all a bit tearful. After she 'went' we let the others out to see her,.....it helps them to understand. Hopefully they will come and get her body today.

    Grrrrr.

Insurers want a post mortem so we are probably not going to claim. A post mortem means stress for the horses left behind and lots for predators to be attracted to ( body is in the field so we cannot scrub down).

My vet is saying as far as he is concerned she meets the guidelines for having been PTS in the field without absolute diagnosis anyway.

Pfftf. There's a whole heap of money thrown away:(

Sounds a bit out of order on their part.

Could it be done then the body removed straight afterwards?

Snow here too and we have photo shoot tomorrow. People coming in from all over and each one essential. Praying roads /trains work properly tomo am.

Worse, we have booked an hour (via security) to access a truly rotting, derelict room with great outlook which will be absolutely freezing. In fact, we chose it because it had a large rotting old radiator in it for them to stand by....which will also be freezing.

Going to take some fleecy blankets in to wrap around the models inbetween shots.

Chilly:eek:.... Your poor models. You should be right on the money this year though fc, so I'm wishing you much good fortune as I see that even M&S have bodycon dresses in their latest output.

I've just checked the forecast for the towns and the snow's looking to be south of here. Will still be very cold though. I'm hoping given that I'm going to a crematorium, that it won't be cold there.
