I have a whopping keloid scar down my sternum which changed my preference. So wires are for high days & holidays.
Bio-oil is meant to work wonders, need to use it for 3 months before you notice an improvement.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I've been measured and all the rest of it silvercar ( think I'm odd shaped). I do occasionally find one that is comfy, then buy a few, then they stop making it and off I go back to non-underwired.0

Well Mrs Generali had a result.
When you left our cold dismal shores, we just knew the Generali's would make a success in the New World!
Well done to Mrs G. The families certainly come a long way from the days we used to exchange banter over on GHPC.I wonder what ever happened to that?0 -
Your bra is male? :rotfl:
I guess that LIR is not keen on a female bra cuddling her breasts.
I just glanced over my shoulder to make sure that DW is not seeing this thread. I am sure that she would understand - eventually! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Have had a v busy few days, so now trying to catch up on pages and pages of NPT. Will be replying in instalments.<stuff about landrovers>
I am not sure you want to know all that, but there you are.
I found it interesting (and lir's comments, and the stuff about military ones) so thanks.Ha! Yep, still keeping the number. I'm not changing anything else in my life for him! I don't generally hear too much from him, although I did get a random text a few days ago asking how things were, that he realises how much he hurt me and that he hopes I can start to forgive him one day. I replied back that as far as I was concerned there was nothing to forgive - that I didn't want to go through anything like that ever again, but sometimes life is just like that. That I am happy and well and trying to move forwards and that I hope for nothing less than the same for him.
I surprised myself with that!
Sounds as though texting the reply was a positive thing for you, regardless of the effect on him. Well done! The NP are proud of you.right, i was feeling miserable reading the relationships boardSorry to hear that, missk. Hugs from me.
I've given up reading the relationships board. It doesn't seem to have a good effect on me, in one way and another.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
I'm looking at a house, the only sensible way to extend seems to be to bring one section (2 story) forward 3m from the house (above the existing garage. The neighbouring property has come forward 2m at first floor level and 3m at ground floor level - what do you think are the odds the planners would be up for 3m at double storey?
When I was househunting I put in some kind of preliminary application (can't remember exactly what it was called) to see if I'd be able to do an extension on a house I was interested in buying. On the whole estate, there were only two houses of that type, opposite each other. The other one had already been extended and I wanted to know if I'd be allowed to do an extension to match. The answer was a definite no, because it wouldn't be a metre back from the existing front line of the house. My comments about matching the other house were dismissed by the words "they wouldn't be allowed to do that if they applied now".Top, top tip: If asked "Does my bum look big in this?" DO NOT NOD!
A long time ago, shortly before LNE left me, we were shopping for clothes for me and I tried on a pair of jeans. He said "I don't like those. They make you look as if you haven't got any bum any more." I said "That's because I haven't" and thought "which is because your affair has had me so scared and upset that I've felt too nauseous to eat for the last year or so and have lost the best part of 3 stone".Eh? I've missed something. I've heard that at least one poster wasn't the gender you'd first think. But haven't aclue who.
I've been mistaken for female on this and other threads but I worked out who was male and female (I thought). I've met michaels and seen him on tv. Theres been the odd picture of NPs here there and elsewhere. Maybe I'm not as good at this as I thought.:(
It was lemonjelly, who consistently refused to say which gender he was, although most people thought he was male. Eventually he slipped up, referring to leaving his jacket on his chair so people would think "oh he must be still in the building".
I am female, BTW.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
