Well, it's raining and I have to be somewhere in a couple of hours.... so I'll have to go out in the rain. Hate it when that happens
I also hate that about 2-3 hours ago I pressed a button on the telly and it went off... and now I can't get it to go back on. I am sure if I really looked, with a magnifying glass, at what all these remote buttons do there'd be a reset button I could at least try. It's not broken, just in some mode unknown to me. Even tried turning it off at the wall for 10 minutes, to fool it - it wasn't fooled.0 -

Your bra is male? :rotfl:0 -

As for the other .... high necked tunic top style.... see - hiding them works
Actually, high necks tend to make them look bigger. Just less on display. My dh is a particular fan of women in roll neck jumpers. Size emphasised, but they are safe and warm......
Oh, and most 'civilised' men have perfected the looking in public thing. They don't have to stare to see!0 -
Well Mrs Generali had a result.
She quit her job which had been misrepresented to her. It was meant to be a trainee accountant job which would lead to her becoming a Chartered Accountant but which was in reality an administrator's job.
The idea was that she'd become a SAHM and get a 'Mummy job', perhaps 15 hours a week.
About 6 months ago she had an interview for a job she failed to get but got into the last 2 an has cultivated her interviewer as an informal mentor. When she quit she sent this bloke a rant of an email about how she'd been led up the garden path etc.
E
He called and asked her what her ideal job would be.
"2.5 days a week in audit with paid study, grad role. In 3 years I've seen 1 part time grad job so it'll never happen."
A couple of days later he rang and offered her the job she'd specified to him over the phone!!! It turns out that the company just bought an audit company and needs a grad.
It's brilliant. She can raise the kids through their primary years and then be all set to kick on once they get to High School.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Not pretty underwear depresses me. Matching prettiness even under pjs makes me feel better.
Today I have put away my nice suede boots I have worn for the last week and dug out my lidl walking boots:(. Cannot find my hat and coat.0 -

Dig in to your ribcage. Even at the Jordan end of the scale, I can't abide them, no matter how much lifting, rounding up or anything else underwiring allegedly does!0 -

Excellent news:T I always say, don't ask, don't get!
I've known two people head to Oz in the last two years and both times, the job was not as described. One couple came back after 6 months and the other, my close friend, is coming back on Monday:D. Never did get that cheap holiday in Adelaide though * shrugs *0 -

I suspect you are not buying the correct size. In the right size they should feel as comfortable and more supportive than non-wired.PN wrote:I've never wanted pretty underwear.... just stuff that holds it all together. I usually pay about £5 for a bra from M&S.
You can get underwired bras in M&S for that sort of price. And they do basic non-frilly ranges if you want. Just checked M&S website for you, cheapest underwired is £5 or they have a set of 2 for £9.50.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
