Well obviously aside from them being nearer to another NP....1 is near prison, 3 is near motorway and next door to Buncefield, all are in wrong school catchment, 2 is on OK 'estate' not established road and has no real garden, all are far from correct train station. although 2 is pretty handy for Waitrose :)

And when you don't get the smell of burning petrol in no 3, you can have the smell of burning wood instead;).

1 is nice though. Different road to prison. The downside would be that you'd live among wags and the former Mrs Gazza.

Do you feel the MG is safe enough in the event of an accident (and however sensible she is can't prevent the other driver from making a mistake) for your DD?

(Sorry to be a kill-joy but as you now know I think about best before dates at the most unlikely of moments)

You are right, safety is a consideration. I suspect she would not use it for motorway driving but for pottering about, DD is Miss Sensible however the A** is a regular route (past your childhood village) and that is a black spot.

She horse rides and that is not risk free, she travelled alone in Aus. As you can imagine we are risk aware but have to live and decide where do you draw the line between reasonable freedom and stifling?

I was out for a bit of exercise on Hampstead Heath, and I passed a man sitting on a bench, playing the guitar and singing from the bottom of his heart. He told me his life story, more or less, including that he lost his wife 3 months ago. Apparently, he's affected quite a few people, and one put this video on youtube. What do you think?

Spirit, I apologise from the bottom of my heart for disillusioning you about my gentlemanliness, and I'll try to remember that several people are very sensitive to discussions about sell-by dates. :)

James got turned down by his first choice uni, so it is thinking caps on to decide which one to go for now (he has 4 other offers)...at the moment, Bucks is top of the list with Herts as insurance but that could all change!

Mum cried when we told her, she was gutted for James...silly begger was trying to cook her dinner and standing there with tears streaming down her face.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Wouldn't the mse thing to do be a vasectomy? Do you want more Michaels? Condoms really add up surprisingly quickly.

Poor James. Cruel life lesson. Best way to learn it though, with four other choices!

Don't you get them for free on the nhs?

Or just have sex with someone less fertile, no intervention required. :p
