If you brush your teeth as you should, floss or interdental brush and are not bulimic or otherwise health compromised why should you necessarily need any?
My teeth are a bit of a mess, because I eat so weirdly and because I am sick a lot. I know I will need a couple of fillings. Dh's are fine, not one filling and hasn't been to the dentist for a few years now, but he tooth grinds at night.0 -

during the period that i have not been to the dentist i have drunk approximately 1,256,311,782,274 jagerbombs and vodka and redbulls.
i reckon i will need somewhere in the region of 32 fillings.0 -

Teeth are the least of your problems then.
But perhaps consider having them pulled and false ones, which you can remove for drinking?0 -

I'm not sure that putting fillings in your liver will help.0 -

Location, location is not all about how central you are, some of us like green fields and views and good transport links.

chewmylegoff wrote: »"what do you want for christmas" starts in about september. what i always want is more work shirts and ties. "NO THAT'S BORRRRRRRRINGG" is always the reply. "fine get me whatever YOU want then"... grumpy stare. conversation repeats twice a week until she gets me some shirts and ties.
when i ask her what she wants i just get "girls are easy to buy for just me a handbag or jewelry" "but you have at least 10 handbags and you never use 9 of them, and never wear any of your jewelry" "fine get me whatever YOU want" conversation repeats twice a week until i buy her a handbag and some jewelry.
Lol....I'm not a usual girl. I only want a handbag when my current one is dead (my current one is actually starting to die now but I am particular with my handbags and I don't mean brand or cost, just how big and how many pockets!)
Jewelry is pah, I can take it or leave it...I rarely wear any anyway as it became a safety hazard when the boys were younger and more prone to stress outs/rages, I was strangled one too many times by my necklace or almost had my ear lobes ripped to pieces by ear rings to really want them now.
In our family it usually goes like this
Mum "What do you want for Christmas?"
Me " Books but not the full price ones as it is a waste of money"
Mum "Oh that is too much hassle, anything else?"
Me " Money so I can buy the books myself"
Mum "But you won't spend it on books, you will spend it on the boys"
Me "And? Still be a help won't it? Ok, how about 'insert household item'?"
Mum " But that is hardly a treat"
She relented last year and gave me money and a kettle. I purchased one cheap book, treated the boys to a (cheap) takeaway and I am still enjoying my kettle. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
