We had a day out yesterday with loveerrr...not sure the boys could handle the different style to days out though from what they have been used to with me. Oh well, they will all start learning about each other soon.

Apart from that, not a lot to report!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

If I'm away for a while, then it's a housesitter, but not worth it for 3 days. Unfortunatley after a while they get a bit bored and chase each other round the house and I'd like to continue the good relationship I have with my neighbours!

For ordinary cyclists I shudder to think how dangerous it must have been- they say that when you get mixed modes sharing the same roads the accident rates go through the roof. I think the rationale is there's too many differnet driving styles to predict everbody's behaviuour, which makes some sense.

This 54 second video is quite interesting about blind spots for a truck in relation to cyclists. The obvious fault is that in life, neither the truck nor the cyclists are static, so the cyclists would be moving in and out of blindspots. It does give some indication though as to the areas it's best to stay away from if you are on two wheels.

I've got 6, isn't that enough for you????? I'm away for a couple of days tomorrow and everytime I think of the kennel fees, I wince - there is no MSE way round it.

A friend pays £10 a day for her cat to be looked after, hate to think what 6 dogs cost.

Another friend with 3 dogs left them with various friends; one (a dog not a friend) had an unhappy ending when the door was opened without thinking and the dog escaped.

As a child we looked after someones goldfish while they were away. The blasted thing died on us and we replaced it with what we thought was a good match, only for the owner to recognise immediately that they blessed pet was not the one swimming in the tank. (We had intended to break the news gently, but they came sweeping through the front door and rushed to see their pet before we had a chance to explain.) I remember lots of wailing.:o At least we learnt never to offer again.

It's a minefield looking after other people's pets! I pay £60.00 total for the mutts, it could be worse.

My OH took some friends to the airport and on the way his friend said, use my car whilst I'm away.

There's only so much time between meeting them in arrivals to walking out the door to explain why their shiny silver volvo is not there after a dispute with a motorway crash barrier. It was written off and they still stayed friends.:o

I had the same problems with the coaches v cyclists they could be a nightmare at times, some were wired for sound and were totally oblivious to their immediate surroundings.

It would help if these vehicles were fitted with a full length strip of lights flashing along with a bleeper to help both cyclist and driver of each others presence.

Also it could be included in the Highway Code that cyclists should be made to read.

If I am a cyclist I stay in sight of the driver's mirror. If I wish to ride further forward (e.g. slow moving traffic or at traffic lights) then I fully evaluate the situation and whether I can get from where I am, to beyond the front, before the vehicle could possibly change position. If I am unsure I'll sit back and in the mirror view until it is safe for me to make a move.

    It's an aspx-based CMS, Dotnetnuke. Bit of a !!!!!!.....

Trying to work out which of the three Google tags to use - and where to place it .... I've had it working at one point, thing is it's not worked since.... so then became unsure of my successful method... and now trying every combination/permutation :)

But now I have run out of time as I have to go out imminently...

This link maybe a long shot for you to get some information and help from the Forum

I have found this site so helpful and friendly in solving the many computer problems that I have encountered.:)

Just got off the phone from HMRC.

To recap, I put a figure in the tax underpaid box which represented the amount of tax I had underpaid. It instead paid me this.

When I made the amendment they suggested to the form, it told me to pay back a different amount, not the far bigger sum they had chucked in my bank account.

So called up, very nice woman so not blaming her, just the system. Apparently I did owe back all the money (no s**t Sherlock), but the system is not capable of realising this. What a load of rubbish... GRRRRR!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the vent... (deep breathes... and relax...)
