You can redirect and tunnel different traffic for free, but as with most things you have to know what you are doing.
This is why companies package up the service and charge a modest fee.
We've paid about £4 for a week's VPN. Their support has been excellent, turns out you can't use it on PC and iPad at the same time. So it's on the iPad and fun. OH watching the footie as I type. Can't complain. (Well I can complain about him watching the footie on holiday, but not about the VPN).I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. It also doesn't help when you have small girly hands and you're supposed to be wearing big thick leather gauntlets - and the alternative of freezer burns is preferable.
I will see your small girly hands in man-size thick leather gauntlets for cold stuff, and raise you small girly hands in man-size thick rubber gauntlets for aqua regia. (No, seriously, I fully sympathise with your frustration. Glad you don't have that problem in your new job.)
(For the non-scientists, I should perhaps explain that aqua regia is an extremely strong acid - dissolves even gold, which most acids don't. Its effect on human skin is not pretty. I never got any on my skin, but it did make a serious mess of a garment I was wearing, during the few seconds between me spilling it and the post-doc turning the hose on me. Fortunately only an outer layer that I was still perfectly decent after removing.)Goood luck with the house sale Bertie.
Glad to hear about the time left to complete the qual. Don't do what I did. I arranged with a London Uni to complete my qual there and then took up a full-time job and never finished it. It's very easy to get lost ina new job and let existing commitments lag behind.
Good luck with the empire-building PN. Resilience is the key and you've got it in spades.
Indeed. Good luck from me too, to Bertie, Nikkster and PN, for their sale, qual and empire, respectively.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
 Utility fixes are great...until they run out and it then seems like prices have rocketed. 20% more per annum to refix my gas from the start of AprilI think....0

Be like us, forget when the fix runs out and do your comparison from standard prices. feels like you've saved loads :rotfl:

Ok, progress report for this evening.
I've enjoyed possibly the best tasting glass of wine that has ever been consumed.
I've found the notebook that covers the very last few experiments I did (thought I had lost it).
I have found a few old (and unannotated) printouts that can go straight into the recycling.
What wine was it?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Whatever the free wine with the M&S Chinese Meal Deal that I bought for myself and parents a couple of weeks back (I figured I paid, so I would claim the wine seeing as we didn't drink it then). It was a Merlot I think.
It was more that it tasted great tonight (having said that I think it was a gold medal winner in some wine competition or another - generally a bit dubious about those actually meaning anything). I am not a particularly sophisticated wine drinker :beer:0 -

Daft... but so are accidental LLs
As long as your bills are paid on time and you are a good tenant, why would they want to terminate? If I was a LL I'd want to keep you as you are reliable. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

My thoughts too, but I can understand why PN would feel twitchy - you can tell what other people are going to think/ do.0 -
