Damn. Missed it again. I always miss Shrove Tuesday.

If it is any consolation to you Generali my OH was making the pancakes this evening and I could hear unusual comments and strange noises coming from the kitchen so I played a low key role and did not enter.

Whatever happened in the kitchen was etched in her face as she entered the living room with ice cream and rhubarb saying the pancakes refused to cook I do not know what went wrong.

Thats ok dear not too worry I said...;)

You are definitely not my oh then.

Mind you he called and told me he had bought ONE pancake for three pounds fifty.

    You know what that is...

    POSH ALERT!!!

I would expect it to be hand-fed to me for that! :)

Is there a way to just link floor plans or something? I want to see, but I don't want you to make your self vulnerable.

If you link to the floor plan then anyone who knows how to use a search engine could find the full right move advert in about 4 seconds. She could however just pm you a link, although that does assume that you are not a dangerous stalker!

I thought I knew where 'the other place' is, but there's nothing there since last October. :o
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Dh could eat that easily. :o. He is NOT a personal trainer.

I could eat at least 10, but 4 is still too many, especially when you are using them as an excuse to eat quite a lot of ice cream.

I think that's because we have just been gas bagging here.

I love the other place though.

Well, fog is moisture and you get driving rain.....why not driving fog?:o

Ha ha. No offence btw. I meant what I sai with affection.

Speaking of driving rain, I heard an interview this am on a podcast from the ABC (our BBC) on the aftermath of the floods in Queensland. It sounds like in large parts of the area where viva's family live, up to a foot of topsoil has been washed away.

Farmers have spent years and in some cases decades ploughing organic matter into the ground to produce this and it was swept away in a night's rain.

It's a great podcast for those interested in how country Australians live. It's called Australia All Over. The radio show is an Aussie institution.

Nikkster has been to my house, so I would hope she trusts me. Odd yes, stalker of women, no. :)

I never take offence from the nice people, or most people, about my typos. I love that they make people smile. It would be very odd to complain about people being kind and laughing with me about errors I make!

I do get frustrated some times when people assume it's because I am dim or dyslexic (though see how both conclusions could be drawn).

Gen, less dramatic, but most of our mulch (we didn't do much) has been washed away, or rather rained through. Last year I had a lot of yellowing leaves which I think was mag deficiency, just the constant rain washing the good stuff through the top layer of soil too quickly perhaps.

This year I am guessing the rain is going to leave us with a legacy of horrendous buttercups. :(.
